I am still only part of my way in on this share will ramp to 1/4 mil in later.

I did not plan to buy today I got tempted lol. but it's lowered my ave from £3.73 to £3.69. So again if my ave is lower it's a good buy.

think it will go up after AGM maybe a 3% day rise even. so did not want to miss out. people said this to me on RR and IAG, I was buying RR at 78p, and IAG at £1.02 and people run scared and wait and wait. look at those 2 now. Some times it's nice to get in early esp as a 12/24 month investment. One could wait till break out point but then you loose an extra 15% rise ! . I don't really see any risks in this bar war risks, and that is with all stocks.

I would not say it's a "bet" I invest in good companies and that's worked out for me ok the last 6 years. Your head winds might be my tail wind :-)

I hold enough cash to not have to touch my pot for a 3 year span worse case. And worse case it just has to keep up with inflation, why get scared ?

I would say it's a safe quote to say M&S will be >£3.81 in 12 months and that for me = getting my money back inc inflation.

I have been though covid, 3 major wars, and the orange tarif, so buying M and S for me vs those 5 risks seems childs play. Tarif day I was £150k down a month later I was £50k up over that. Day traders an now AI do panic sell and every thing is over done these days. But also this helps on good news when we see massive 1 day gains also. trading today is not the same as it was 10 years back.

My only very short term issue was selling all my Tesco to buy M and S, and that's gone up the last 3 days while M&S has gone down, bugger ! SO a bit of short term pain there. I should have sold 1/2 not all of them. easy to say today :-)

I just doubled up at £3.65 So I feel happy long term and just dropped my ave.

I am in this one for 12 month to 2 years also. Happy with 12% PA gains but I expect WAY more in M and S over this time frame.

I only quoted you, 12 months ago the price was £2.80. You asked me, I quoted you back, that's all, you even said it might be worse than £2.80 !

Lets see what happens in 12 months :-) . I am not worried what the price is in 12 days ! , you seem to be worried all the time with 30 share trades in the same company ! vs my 1 trade.

Yes these might be a bit cheaper by the end of the month so what , they might not be then what ? lets wait 14 days to check back, I cannot call rock bottom on any share price it's pretty much impossible.

Sounds like you won't be buying until it hits £2.80 or worse :-) You either want to be in these for the AGM or not, I take it that's a no for you.

As for a mistake we won't know for 12 months I don't care what it is in 12 days, but I hope to be back in the blue in 2 weeks.

Risk = reward, we all risk at different levels esp with 3 major wars going on ! I'll leave you be till 2nd July :-)

They have redone the IT system hence it took so long, and they should get 1/3 of the money back with insurance.

So not all bad news. No one can call the bottom or top so you can wait till break out point and that's a way off but miss out on an extra 13%/15% ish , or you get in now and make more money but it might be stale for another 2 or 3 months or even drop a tad it's called - Short-Term Volatility.

I would say the M and S shopper is very loyal as no one else does what they do.

Guys who can see volumes going though auctions can see the new interest in M&S. Not arm chair noobs running scared to buy any.

Take bigger risks make bigger money. If you don't like it don't buy it, very simple, I guess a lot of people will wait 2 more months and after the AGM., still money in it waiting a bit longer to get in. DYOR FOMO people.

not bothered, as it's impossible to get a bottom, so happy to be in now before it takes off, people will wait till break out point and miss out on another 15% , not me i am in now for a 12 month run.

a lot of people get caught up in tops and bottoms, but when i say there is >40% in it who cares about 0.5% or 3p ?

i was not in m&s as most of my money was in rr and i made 728% on them so why would i be ******* about with m&s stocks !!

if you don't like m&s stocks sell them and buy something you like, and we can meet up in 12 months and see who was right.

my pot made £11.5k today even with m&s in the red now, so again waiting or selling and buying day to day is not my thing, i invest in companies for at least 12 months, if it's not hit a target and i see a better one i'll switch a few about. but i rarely buy and sell shares week on week. i only hold 8 companies.

If you don't understand markets buy an ETF. and let some one else do investing for you.

I went in a large amount yesterday.

Buy the dip reap the rewards longer term.

how can you expect £4.20 after an attack and no web site orders. hence buying now for me as it all comes back on line and then we are off to the moon, forget £4.20 it will be £5.20 in 12 months. that's a 40% return.
