RE: Broker consensus for M&S27 Jun 2025 09:40
I don't care to be honest because that = worry and stress.
You still don't get investing do you ? although you did geta nice buy in.
Yes I would rather i got in at £3.49 but I did not, it's really not an issue when you have £5+ targets and £4.20 by year end.
On break out point I'll put another £100k in them so my ave will only go up. One might say why not put £100k in now then :-)
That's not how I do things. I now need it to break out my target figure. I don't call 6 to 12 month long term either , 5 years is classed in this game as long term !
for me in 12 months I hope i'll be 30%+ up on this stock I plan all my targets over 12 months and it's worked very well for me.
last TAX year 34% up even with the crash, this tax year to date 22% up helped by the crash. My aim is always 12% PA so it's been beating that and than some the last 6 years year on year. I actually don't aim for big growth risks shares these days, I aim to pay myself and keep with inflation, I draw 5.5 % PA wages out the pot, so 12% keeps it still rising nice, but the last 6 years have been amazing from covid, been easy money and no need to worry about short term trades. This week been a great week 5 days of rises in row is rare and still a BP and IAG div to come in this month. June is always mega on the divs.
You say no one buying M&S but the volume the last few months is massive going though. Do you not have access to that ?
