Whether it’s COPD or Covid whichever of the analyses is completed first will be material so subject to an RNS. Either one could drop at any point so I’d expect volume to increase over the coming days.

I hope a positive COPD lands first to set a much higher base before Covid but as long as they’re positive it’s all good .

Encouraging to see that another company thinks it worth doing a trial using essentially the same approach (alpha instead of beta). However, they are only planning to start their trial this month so are 3 or 4 months probably longer behind SNG and have only applied for a patent. Another poster already forwarded to SNG suggesting their patent lawyers have a look. Anyway, more validation so all good.

The World Health Organization has reported a record increase in global coronavirus cases with 212,326 being recorded in just 24 hours, amid a surge in the United States, Brazil and India.
The WHO’s situation report showed that just under 130,000 of those new cases were in the Americas, including the US, Brazil and Mexico, but the WHO said South-East Asia, including India stood at just under new 28,000 new cases on Saturday.
The previous biggest daily global increase had been 189,000 on Tuesday.
Brazil, the world’s sixth most populous nation, with more than 210 million people, is one of the global hot spots of the pandemic. There have been more than nearly 1.6m confirmed cases and 64,265 deaths, according to Health Ministry data. Both are thought to be undercounts due to insufficient testing.
Mexico recorded another milestone on Saturday, moving into fifth for the country with the worst death toll.
The government has previously said the actual number of infected people is likely significantly higher than the confirmed cases. Citing unpublished figures from the country’s civil registry, local broadcaster Milenio reported that as of 19 June almost twice as many people had died from the virus than reported by Deputy Health Minister Hugo Lopez Gatell.

In Australia, health authorities in Melbourne said the city’s outbreak had “explosive potential” as a lockdown of nine high-rise towers began, affecting around 3,000 residents. Victoria’s chief health officer, Brett Sutton, also warned authorities hadn’t “turned the corner” yet in containing the outbreaks at the towers, and that he expected some “big days ahead of us”.
Sutton said there was “a lot of exchange of individuals” between the towers, and that authorities were working on the “precautionary principle that transmission might have occurred across towers”.
The premier of the state of Victoria, of which Melbourne is the capital, said he had not ruled out expanding harsh lockdowns across the city. Daniel Andrews said: “I don’t want people dying in these towers...We will all feel the impact if this gets away from us comprehensively, because I won’t be looking down 12 postcodes, I will have no choice but to lockdown all postcodes”.

Even if it doesn't, and just provides comparable benefit, I'd argue that SNG's method of administration is far superior in practical terms...

a) doesn't need to be administered in hospitals (reducing burden on hospitals that are seriously neglecting non-covid patients at the moment and want to get back to normality, whether that be sectioned off wings, or doctors/nurses doing COVID stuff)
b) can be easily manufactured and shipped off to people and done at home (helps with isolating)
c) nobody likes injections (I jest...but it is a serious point...who'd chose injections over an inhaler for their asthma. And some people seriously dislike needles to say the least)

If the company needed funds they’d have gone to the gov like many other PLCs for a low interest loan.

With the disposals the revenue has come down a fair bit but the losses have circa halved too. Not too bad and I assume the disposals are ensuring this is delayed coupled with Covid. Good we got the headline figures and we knew cash position was precarious so not too bad.

They want the average test processing time to come down to 24 hours and it currently stands at 27 hours. The 24 hour target was set for July 1st.

The target is set for the end of June as has nothing to do with our prototype.

Even if we’re a little late it’s not an issue as this virus is sadly here for a good while yet.

Also, the US is behind us so if not delayed we could get an RNS on 1st July.

I think the issue is mixed messages which is poor. In the video released the DST before the optimisation RNS we’re told we’re on track for end of June re manufacturer transfer/design freeze and presumably they read Turner Pope’s research note Before it’s published.

Quite a few sells this morning, I can sell 25,000 for 21.80p so I imagine the 30,000 was a sell. MMS happy to take well over the bid.

People taking profit and unless you’re trading it I wouldn’t worry. Massively de-risked, Cytiva wouldn’t have signed off the RNS unless they were positive they’d get super high sensitivity and specificity. Optimising for a week or so and other news due beforehand.
