This highlights why some criticise so called rampers and this is an example. Han**** will pre-empt our RNS, will he announce the specificity/sensitivity, manufacturers, cost and then they first batch will be available. In fact we can just get a transcript and for our RNS.

If we release a 5pm RNS in-line with the gov announcement the FCA will be all over it. It’d be ridiculous or even a 7am RNS. It’s material FFS so will be released ASAP

So the gov know exactly when a material RNS will drop. It’s nowt to do with us.

I think once SKIN has inserted its AI into MWG and can detect the virus using AVCT affimers they’ll be a stampede and the WHO will be well aware. They’re testing at the mo and once they’ve developed a prototype to be signed off we should hear of OEM and maybe plural as they’ll need to produce a fair number. Exciting times and hopefully it’s ready for autumn.

Let’s agree to disagree, Saffy. Antibodies only give limited immunity so it’s finger in the air as to whether one with them can contract the virus and pass it on again.

Once the world moves away from antibody testing we will 2 months after! Look at antigen testing, care homes, masks. We’re very slow to react but will.

The point is a vaccine looks likely to be ineffective as many with antibodies can still contract the virus which is why many think antibody tests ineffective.

But things are changing and fundamentally all the time. Unless one has invested here in CD4 etc and not Covid then not a lot has changed but given the evolving state of play due to knowledge and research fresh info will impact the investment case. Do antibodies last, can someone still catch the virus when they have antibodies (yes many studies say) and they can pass on without symptoms so are antibody tests as significant as initially thought? That’s the question. I believe ODX is working on a much more difficult antigen test and if so fair enough.

I’ve known ODX for years and am not currently invested but I took years from initial CD4 prototype due to many design changes to finally launching. Anyway, let’s see. Hopefully more studies come out re antibodies but many think it’s like the common cold so antibody tests are near to pointless.

I agree suggesting £1 when we’re struggling to stay over 2p is a little much. That said the potential here is massive and I have to disagree with your old school valuations -

A huge number of tech & Pharma Businesses have crazy valuations with little or no revenue to speak of and unnatural fact you could say it’s all about profit anyway rather than revenue.

WANdisco for instance have revenues of some £15m, losing £30m a year and market cap of some £300m and they’re also AIM listed, in fact their market cap has been over £600m at one point! The point is potential and doing something different so disrupting the marketplace which is why SKIN has done with its labskin, cloning and AI and will do for real-time water monitoring (not just water).

Anyway, let’s get to cash flow break even, and assuming the real-time monitoring works it will be transformational and £50m market cap will swiftly be followed by £100m+.
