Once again, you displaying a lack of understanding of:
(a) the facts; and,
(b) how these things are assessed.

Independent evaluation of the AbC19 test showed a Sensitivity of 97.7% (confidence intervals of 95.25%-99.06%) and Specificity of 100% (CI=98.95-100.00%). As those who deal with these things will tell you, the results are rounded when discussing S&S. So the AbC19 meets the MHRA requirements.

And ODX doesn't have to dispute. The AbC19 test isn't an ODX test - they simply manufacture it.

Try reading the Service Specification that is in the list of documents on the link you posted...

You clearly lack a basic understanding of how these sorts of tests work - which means you've not done the basic research and due diligence that a competent investor would do. I'm sure people will give your views the weight they are due...

The LFT is indicative. The lab-based ELISA is quantitative.

We've seen this numerous times before. An initial rally in the morning, followed by a drop as the 10%ers sell off, followed by a more sedate increase in the afternoon.

As others have said, if you are a long term holder who understands ODX and it's fundamentals/portfolio, the blips caused by this being a predominantly PI share are recognisable and something that won't overly concern you.

Off the top of my head I can name 9 NHS acute trusts, who I know are struggling with lab-based capacity and who are potential target clients. I'm also aware that there are a number of major manufacturers/food processing plants in the area that will be likely targets for this service as well.

- Abingdon is newer to the market
- the placing was primarily with IIs, who won't be on these BBs - whereas ODX is primarily PIs who will be on BBs
- it's relationships - although many - are less established
- ODX has a partnership with an established LFT developer (the grand-dad of LFTs)- Abingdon is dealing with several newer entrants to the field (one of which still doesn't actually have a test at design freeze)

Abingdon and ODX are both going to be key players in a growing field. I think the wise money will invest in both (I have).

Earliest possible announcement date for that will be 1 February. I'd expect it to be several days after that.

Yep - and the Abingdon RNS confirms that future supply arrangements will be via DPS tenders.

I was referrin to the DHSC control of third party sales. I read the Abingdon and ODX RNS' as suggesting that arrangement is going and will not be renewed. That is good news, as we know there are pre-order waiting and it means sales can go ahead overseas.

Today is the earliest possible day that a formal notification could be made (if a decision was made on the day of closing and the bidders notified in writing at the time, which is unlikely).

I would expect news on that tender later this week or the beginning of next week (if there are no challenges).

I mean no further agreement with DHSC that gives DHSC control over third party sales.

I note that in the ODX RNS CK says: "We welcome the update from Abingdon Health this morning and look forward to being able to update investors on the potential to open up significant commercial opportunities outside of the UK in due course."

CK will deliver on that, I'm sure - and those commercial opportunities will be at significantly higher value than selling the test to HMG.

I disagree. I think the wording around future tenders/contracts, as well as the reference to the other jurisdictions, is a fairly good indication that there will be no further agreement with DHSC, meaning that third party sales (where we know there are pre-orders) will be able to proceed.

I'm not surprised. We do not routinely do antibody tests pre/post vaccination for the majority of vaccinations undertaken. The testing that was undertaken as part of the clinical trials was using a different testing method. It's only once the vaccine starts being used in the real world that accompanying testing can be trialled and data compiled.

Nice to see confirmation that the ELISA testing services will be going ahead. That's going to be a nice little earner, as capacity is currently limited.

My other half did one of his SpR rotations at QEHKL, and was living up there during the week for six months, whilst I remained in London. A odd hospital, to say the least. Luckily, he got his consultant post at Addenbrookes.

I quite often cycle from Cambridge to Kings Lynn. It’s a nice day out.
