I need to brush up on my French. However, all the talk of autonomous, at various stages, is just that. Peugeot has been using a very basic (wonky even) in house (with some input from a convenience DMS provider) that would probably struggle to get 1 star with NCAP and being a Euro centric OEM, it has to go for the best safety (only) DMS provider there is. It also has pretensions to be in competition with some of its models against the premium brands and although it may be latish to the party, there's still time (with the chip) to be in line with legislation and sell new models within the EU as from May 2022.

You could have the same scenario as say Audi where it's traffic jam assist and sold in Europe pre 2022 models or all 14 could be destined for China. My money would be on the latter, the value of the contract hints that it may not even be traffic jam assist. Any follow on orders for areas that there is, or will be very, legislation for safety DMS at present will very, very likely go to SEE, even for basic DMS. What gets me is SmartEyes 'if in all models', yeah, sure, pull the other one. Disingenuous in the extreme.

It's an in house system (Toyota) and Level 2 is not hands off, it's torque I believe. You'd expect the journalist to do a bit of research.

24/7 monitoring by a call centre is an additional extra. How many opt for that? I suppose Mix push it, may be cost neutral with insurance taken into the equation.

Maybe but I believe Nvidia need the Fovio chip in order to make its set up not fry the system in short order. The software alone would not be enough to stop that happening as far as I know.

However, the number of possibilities are quite a few so nothing can be ruled out.

Of course we are all here to make money and I always thought researching a share helped make an informed decision. If you don't know a company in and out I really don't know how anyone could invest in an individual company and the only way I can think that you invested in SEE is by using a pin. As you say you don't care what a company does as long as it makes you money but how can you invest in a company if you don't know or understand what it does. Hence, the pin.
And again you fail to mention the mystery company who is about to steal all the safety DMS business. There's a reason for that, you have done absolutely no research and just came out with it. If you had of done even a little research you would have realised there is no such company.

I would suggest a lot of people are in invested in SEE because of it's technology which happens to be one of two or less safety DMS solutions and legislation is about to be enacted that will make it necessary.

However, some hear believe another company will steal the business but never say who this mystery company is. It certainly isn't SmartEye, now that is a myth.
However, I await to be told who this mystery company is, I might invest in it if that is possible.

So you and Baxter are selling out but waiting for Auto RNS that you say are myths until they happen. So you are investing in myths?

Maybe I do a bit of research and don't keep harking back to TFD which clouds your every thought about SEE who could end up with a clean sweep of the RFQ's it's involved with, some of which may even overshadow the Ford contract.
But you go on in your ever decreasing cycle of depression and keep on feeding it with your well researched rants about a company you seem to have an emotional attachment to which either way is never a good thing as regards investments.

Too true about easy targets, it wouldn't surprise me if SEE didn't beat targets, if only slightly. As for next year, there may well be revised targets if the rumours about Fleet are correct!
