Comparatively speaking the aviation industry is more stringent about safety than auto and also SEE is in a different league altogether in Aviation even when compared to it being in a different league in Auto. It seems to me that it is SEYE following SEE everywhere (stalked) and desperately wanting to be compared to SEE whereas it shouldn't be.

We are talking about the here and now, this is Fleet, I doubt trucks will have to have Guardian fitted which has 24/7 monitoring. That will be in addition but not mandated.

Quite likely that SEE will earn similar for a 30 ton truck or a family saloon, with anonymised data, and that is totally separate to Guardian.

Maybe 20,000 within Auto is a drop in the ocean but at present Fleet is a big contributor to SEEs turnover and how well it does dictates to a certain extent when SEE will be at breakeven or better. And, due to well documented problems that emerged last year (which we are told have been fixed) is also the main reason the SP is where it is. Fleet figures today are as important as Auto contract wins.

Yes, couldn't agree more. Even the $8 cost saving by itself is 'financially significant' and yet nothing that I can remember has been issued. Assuming SEE hits the mid point 28,500 units that's, including the $8 million and unit cost, just about $20 million without any monthly fees. Cenkos and SEE has to get serious.

Well, unless the numbers are lying, there is or soon will be at least 20,000 units installed. So, perhaps Cenkos should do a proper forecast, also including the cost saving (which for a company the size, at present, as SEE, is sizeable)?

Adjusting it for the shorter period, using the average over 5 months would lead to 20,619 units installed /connected but with the holidays coming who knows (and maybe be not installing the same numbers as in July, August etc

DMS but not IR DMS. Obviously, SEYE hasn't enough time to deal with JLR as it's got every one onto the the job of trying to make it's convenience DMS into safety DMS for its next door neighbour who believes if it hangs on a bit, it will overcome its inferior algorithms, lack of Dr Mike and Tim et al (which is SEE's strongest point possibly) and almost total lack of data to help improve its tech and it will become safety DMS. Maybe Volvo had better change its title from Vision 2020 to Vision 20maybebut maybe 21something as until it's actually done it's not certain that any company (that hasn't already done it) will fail in its goal. Some will fail, big time!

SEYE should be, this is destined for China which suggests GM as the other main players don't sell enough. Which also suggests one DMS for non-China and one for China. Can't win them all!

Do yourself a favour and filter ColdFishPie. All his actions are purely to stop discussion/research /logic and promote negativity so that his agenda, to bring down the SP, works. 21+K at a minimum and the second half is expected, so SEE has said, will be busier installation wise so encouraging.

Buff Re Auto, SEE has issued 4 RNS this calendar year, 1 a very small new one, one a small extension and two very decent extensions. If SEE gets a number of new OEM's next year, together with existing OEM's it's possible the number of extensions will make 2021 as busy or busier than any preceeding year.The trick is getting new OEM's to sign the contract.

2. Something is posted about SEYE, which is factually correct (either about the, er, delays, of models, which taken with information widely available in the media hints at more than delays, and you defend SEYE.
3. If you'd been at the CMD, you'd realise financial analysts have little understanding of the difference between SEE and SEYE tech.
4. Where did you come with the idea I would defend any logical criticism of the BoD 's?

I think you could well be right and only when Mercedes, BMW ET al progress will it all show in the SP.

At present, the markets are a bit clueless in it looks at both the companies as exactly the same and looks at the lack of progress with SEYEs orders but really it's apples and oranges, although it's eye tracking, at some point due to data, greater R&D spending, staff, that is just about all that is the same. As far as we're aware the programs are progressing smoothly (until told differently) but SEE still needs the first model of each program to roll off the production line before the market wakes up. Of course, the market may be shocked awake when it becomes aware of what SEE tech is and what SEYE tech isn't.

No, not of the George Best variety but of the SEYE variety. If you look at Semicast's tweet from February -

only 6 models from the earlier DWs are at present - X3, 4, 5, Z4, 3 & 8 Series, all BMW.

So, what's happened of the earlier models, namely - Audi A8, Porsche Taycan, 13 JLR models (all European) and even Geely, destined for China but with Volvo link. Also Audi has /had a later order for 4 models to go into production in 2019 and 2020 (2019 is quick!) and maybe 1-3 BMWs to come, or not.

So, what's happened to the majority of the earlier DWs that SEYE keeps boasting about and is the oft cited 9 OEM's as customers a bit of a stretch?

Audi, Porsche, JLR and Geely were all announced prior to the latest BMW DW was announced so are they still customers or should the number of OEM's be correctly stated as 5?

Sometimes having most of the early business may not be such an advantage although CT6 hints that other than Takata (bar JLR) SEE would not have had the same 'delays'.
