Yes, very likely all of Volvo's new models and refreshes will include Level 2(+) capabilities, either as standard or possibly optional. Either way, if you have Level 2(+), unless you go heavy with camera's, there really is only one option, and cameras cost money.
As far as we know, only SEE DMS can detect intoxication, be it at 10, 37 or 82 mph, so unless SEYE has made big strides in the last year, which with its R&D spend would be remarkable, it doesn't matter what speed it's required to.
Only SEE has the necessary availability at speeds up to 82 mph to truly be called a safety DMS which will be needed for Level 2(+) (and below) so it's slightly confusing with GSR and ENCAP looming up, to say in traffic. Doesn't that cause problems, re safety ones, when it disengages above say 37 mph, drivers will get blasé surely?
