That's not what you said. Besides, such is the scope for SEE tech, it could happen that someone picks up on something that is SEE and if we waited for an RNS to be issued confirming, we'd be waiting ad infinitum.
Of course, you don't have to re
read the posts, maybe there's your solution?
I unfiltered the green blobs, turns out it was temporary following Smokey's ignorant (purposefully?) post.
This may surprise you, Smokey, but SEE ain't Tesco and at present R&D is going to account for a big chunk of spend whereas food generally doesn't need a massive amount of R&D ie it's a finished product.
Anyway, filtered for your total ignorance.
If Colin Barnden is a nut job, what does that make the many organisations who pay thousands for his reports and also companies who pay him to speak at functions.
It obviously pays to be a nut job and explains why the 100% sane CFP is poor. One day, CFP, the world will realise.
Yes, Eyesight is great competition for SEYE in China, suggest people reread Colin's LinkedIn posts.
The Eyesight DWs for 'DMS' is quite probably for most, if not all, of GMs annual output in China and if nothing else illustrates the bloodbath China's convenience DMS market is. Looks like the going rate is under US $2 per unit.
Not a market SEE is in, hardly competition if you're not in it any way.
And considering Eyesights limitations, how anyone can consider it as even in the same market as SEE is dubious.
Yes, great article by Junko. Only thing is I'm torn between being compared to Mobileye or ARM. But, great comparison either way.
From memory, which I'm sure we all remember, a certain Swedish financial analyst (and house broker I believe) has previously compared SEYE to Mobileye due to the number of DWs, even though from the sounds of the article, tech wise, SEYE cannot be compared to Mobileye ie world leading. If anything, far from it. Also, some of the DWs may not necessarily be what we'd call DMS, eye tracking maybe, but not DMS. But that's being picky.
However, perhaps Viktor, after this article, written by a completely neutral journalist /analyst, should stop using totally incorrect hyperbole such as 'SEYE are Kings of DMS' when it quite plainly isn't. Kings of bu****it, maybe.
Er, no, Shallwe, the posts are viewable. What S2020 has very recently said is correct, it's an open platform and the adulation of Ken, the man with the vision to almost bankrupt SEE there to see for all. Quite honestly, again, how can take seriously an ex CEO who's doing what he's doing, at best so unprofessional
Bogyo
Indeed, however it does appear to be Ken and, for his sake, wish it wasn't. Giving insight into a company he left 18 months ago is just that, insight going back 18 months, with the SP wollowing at around 3p,seemingly going nowhere, almost bankrupted by mismanaged and although we can't say for sure would following Covid-19, would not have made redundancies, but a placement at the worse possible SP. At least Dipto, who obviously hasn't worked out the non adjusted R&D spend would have been happy. But not PIs.
And yet most of Telegram lapping up every word of it. He may have had vision but that was not aligned with PIs.
From my knowledge of Russia, anything will be better than the current situation. Totally horrendous driving, which won't be helped by DMS per se, but also a lot of distracted/fatigued driving. A friend of the family got killed by a dozing driver there.....
Latest from Ken is a regurgitation of an old lesson on multiple suppliers. Yeah, Ken, thanks for the lesson in basic economics, but what if, in Europe, there's only one, two at a push, who can do the job. Total tosh.
Maxx
It's been confirmed more than once and in different ways.
Mr BB
No doubt he is in touch with people at SEE, even one you mentioned who won't be too happy at his subtle dig.
I very much doubt SEE will be happy, agreed, very unprofessional and possibly does breach some agreement. Obviously doesn't want to be CEO of a listed company again, not that many will be offering.
Ok, one last question. How many ex CEOs of listed companies, who may not be happy at being the ex CEO, do people know who post either under a different name on boards like this or become members of open to the public chat groups in their real names? I bet it's a very low number and probably infinitely longer than it was before yesterday.
Weird.
Blue
Considering it's already accepted on LSE that SEE or any other DMS provider is highly unlikely to get 100% of each OEM, location/regulation come into it, and already known SEYE had won a small order from a US based OEM but for China bound models, it was assumed that to be GM but not Cadillac. But after Krusty's Master Class yesterday, it's all of a sudden, Cadillac and with it Super Cruise, all of a sudden Mary Barra has decided she can rewrite the laws of physics and availability for a Level 2((+) don't matter.
Another good one is the reason SEE didn't win anything in the last round was uncompetitive Ness and had nothing to do with not taking part as it's not what we'd view as DMS, all due to a few words from a ex CEO who was asked to leave 18 months ago and said he still speaks to a few there and possibly gets info. And is quite happy to subtly blame others. And that all of this led to 3 Pillars. Sounds like he's been talking to Viktor whereas if he'd talked to this man, he might have got a sensible answer, who believes it, 3 Pillars er Al, is a brilliant bit of planning. Amazing how quickly people forget -
