Seadoc is lying and rumour mongering to spread doubt and uncertainty. For those who are concerned read the RNS. UKOG is fully funded to the end of 2019 and beyond (due to the avoidance of costs at Holmwood). KL4 is set to flow in days if not hours. RNS announcing initial KL4 flow rates due by the end of the week in my view. Just ignore Seadoc the serial UKOG shorter. The filter button is extremely effective! Cheers! Red

Well all I can say to that diatribe is that when I was in the Kidderminster store on Saturday morning at 11 am I had to wait 5 minutes in a queue to buy some of my Christmas shopping and they were fully staffed. . . . I think that this seasons results will surprise some doomsayers. Obviously if you’ve crystallised your losses already then whatever positive views are posted on here they won’t get your vote due to your negative bias confirmation but hey I can live with that ;-) At these prices a strong buy.. By 2022 I predict (he said rubbing a felt cloth over a crystal ball) that UKOG will be in stable production from a minimum 3 sites with 4 wells on each site, production of over 6,000bopd minimum, MCAP at least £1 billion with SP of approx 25p. But I’ve always been a pretty pessimistic glass half empty kind of person . . . ;-) Red

Buying momentum seems to be on an upswing at the moment. In my view this is driven by the fact we are close to opening the taps on KL4 this week. It would be nice to see a recovery in SP back to high 1.9p+ soon. But this is always going to be the plaything of MM’s and swing traders until we start full-time production in late 2019/2020. Hey ho, still holding until 2022 at the earliest :-)

Reality will set in. We are going into full scale production in 2019 from two separate discoveries. That is a fact. In the mean time the market will play games with UKOG. Buy on the dips and hold. Still extremely happy here :-) Red

Upside - read the RNS current pressure at the bottom of the well is 800 psi. That’s not shifted from the start of the test. Reads as ZERO depletion. . . . Love it! Red

Since the Solo TR1 on 15th October when they announced that they held 162m shares, UKOG trading volume has been almost 1bn shares traded in total. IMO that’s plenty enough for them to have disposed of the bulk of the remaining shares. As below 3% holding I don’t think that they’re obliged to inform the market until they’ve completed their disposal of all share (if even then). The fun and games in terms of SP volatility is definitely with ANGS at the moment, all power to them. UKOG will have its turn soon enough. I want ANGS to succeed - to help prove up the Weald oil field concept. Bring on the KL4 results! Cheers! Red

Me too. But having been through being made redundant and having to find a new job myself recently, whilst it is upsetting, challenging and at times very hard work, there are opportunities out there and currently the job market is robust. There may be an upside whereby new careers are launched, new entrepreneurs start up, new life directions are started. Whilst not ideal, enforced change is often a catalyst for improving one’s lot. I hope that it’s a controlled reduction in staff numbers and they do get some support in terms of redundancy payout and help in getting a new role or making a career change. Red

@Orangetree - so, a company with almost £3bn turnover and actually turning a reasonable operating profit in the retail sector is in a ‘dire situation’? Really? Personally with 20 years PQE in finance and accounting those number whilst not beautiful are far from dire . . . EBITDA of £157m on £3bn turnover is not bad in retail. If it wasn’t for management kitchen sinking that set of results with all the exceptionals you can think of it’d be regarded as solid in the trading environment. Stop scaremongering.

Hi Degsy - just wondering why we would be expecting an RNS?

For me it’s quite simple. ANGS has the productiknlicense for Brockham but has to prove that it can produce in significant quantities. UKOG has proved / is proving up Horse Hill but hasn’t yet got the production licenses. Both for me a not risk free but very good bets. Can’t understand why people bring down one or another. Surely it’s best long term if both are successful? I’m invested in both. Or am I just being dumb? Cheers! Red
