Penguins - so if you apply the rough metrics of what has been CPR’d to those assets that haven’t, then where does that take you? Say if the x HUNDRED BILLION barrels of oil in the Weald was out by say a factor of 10 over estimated (so only 10s of Billions Of barrels - unlikely given 2 independent reports supported this) then say UKOG had only the rights to 10% of Weald license area (they have much more) then that is still Billions Of barrels of oil. Say only 10% of that was recoverable then it’s still 100s of millions of barrels recoverable. Even priced at a conservative $5-10 in the ground you can see why from a TOP down macro perspective you could argue that UKOG was woefully undervalued. But you choose to look at it from a bottom up, nailed on, proven value, building it up step by step. Fair enough, that’s your choice. That way you’ll never buy any share as in a rational market the future revenues based on the proven assets would be priced in so you’d just be trading away any of your capital on transaction fees. I’m not sure but I’d hazzard a guess that you don’t own any AIM shares? If you do then accept my apologies and I’d be interested to know what they were? Red
