I certainly thought the wording in the last RNS meant that the news was very close. Obviously I was wrong, absolute shambles and a terrible way to treat shareholders.

Crazy spread isn’t helping, but buyers are at 1.8p currently

That’s probably about right, although I have told him my thoughts on all of this, which has made me feel a little bit better.

I did say that I hoped there would be no bonuses paid to any of the management who have presided over this shambles.

I’m still hopeful they’ll pull it out of the hat by close of play tomorrow. I should probably go and lie down in a dark room until my head gets better.

It would be nice to get something from the company about what is actually holding things up, even if they can’t tell us exactly when the accounts will be published.

Fwiw I have emailed Bob Holt to ask exactly this, after he replied to an earlier email. I’m aware he will be very busy, but shy bairns get nowt.

As it stands there are no offers and Strike believes it can pick up the whole lot for less than current market cap. The only thing this does is guarantees that they get the company, rather than fight it out if it goes into administration.

All holders can hope for is an offer comes in, because it looks like the BOD have given up and agreed to sell to Strike. What have they been promised would be my question?

Correct, the word “materially” isn’t in the RNS. The only hope is someone else comes in with a counter offer.

Canaccord out as well. The price has probably held up quite well with all these massive sells yesterday.

I sometimes post comparisons with what I see as sector peers. This showed that most had risen by a decent margin since our suspension.

Today, though, both BOO & ASC have taken a hammering & THG is subject to a potential bid, so is higher because of that.

These companies have some connection to beauty products, and maybe aren’t a good comparison because of everything else they do.

Maybe Warpaint is more like us.

Anyway, it pays to be a realist, so thought I’d share my thoughts while we wait patiently for something to happen here.

You are correct, this share has entered my head and removed my brain.

The amount of information we should be getting would probably merit an after close announcement for maximum impact, certainly not an intraday with lots to digest.

Although right now I’d settle for an announcement in H1 this year.

Apart from the accounts taking forever and a day, I think every indication that I’ve seen since suspension has been positive. Hopefully not long until we find out, surely this week.

I wouldn’t have thought so, although I’m happy to let them have my shares for a fiver. Each.

I will stick my neck out and say they are worth a lot more than 8.5p!

I have given this company far too much respect, all that I have now is the hope that when the news drops, it blows the bloody doors off.

I’m almost certain that we are a sitting duck here, and there will be an almighty fight to buy us out.

I don’t think BOO will be able to afford us, but they should do well out of their stake.

It’s got to be close, so start your engines, and strap in for the ride!

Clearly not. I also held MCLS & AFREN while they went pop. I’m hoping for a better result here.
