Thanks Chas - It looks as though there'll be no prelims this time. - I believe, I could be wrong, but that in itself is a further new development in restricting communications. - There's always prelims! - On the other-hand, it may be no bad thing. If there is bad-news, it'll restrict us to one good-hiding instead of the two we've become used to - Who knows, maybe that's why they are doing it.

Hi DA SUT - Yes indeed, I picked up and noted the 450-500 comment. - Of course this years forecast of 490-520 goes beyond that conservatism with Josef back at the helm. - So, we'll see, my own view is that they will fail to meet this years guidance once again and we all know what the likely effect on market-cap will be. Q1/Q2 will be a guide as to whether there is a cat-in-hells of reaching this years target. Some very dodgy-moves already in play here, eg. no notification on Q1 prelims yet. Appreciate any comments you may have regarding the current state-of-play especially the secrecy and lack of reporting that previously was the norm. We all know that since this all kicked-in from last May, secrecy/silence has become synonymous with failure to reach targets.- cheers

Hi bardill - It seems everything the company does these days results in a loss of market-cap. - They don't need any help from anyone, the press or anybody else, they mange perfectly well on their own. - My fear is that this perfected skill they've acquired is about to be demonstrated once again very shortly. I'm surprised they haven't linked remuneration to it, ie. the more they drive it down the bigger their bonus.

Hi Tibbs - Interesting that in his speech, Josef highlights that mal-reporting by the press resulted in Market-cap collapsing by up to $400m. - He obviously regarded this as a shocking state-of-affairs. - Market-cap collapsed by more than $500m in this last year, but it had nothing to do with press coverage, rather more to do with mal-reporting by the company. - But that's OK I suppose.

Start of new U.K. tax-year on Monday. - It might make a difference. It might. - But I'm not counting on it.

Yet another expert point of view. - Here in the UK we've been exposed to a million experts on Brexit, it's been a never-ending process, all knowing what's wrong and what should have been done. - Many of the political-experts, when in office, got everything wrong, but now, they have all the answers. - What makes this addition of yours any different?

The only good thing that I can see from delaying prelims until official reporting day is, that it could prevent a double good-hiding. - Look what happened last year, a double-doze every time. The finals were even worse, we all knew what had happened, we all knew it was a bad year, we didn't need reminding, we'd been severely punished every step of the way, and yet, when what everybody knew was made official on finals day, we took a massive additional beating leaving us almost close to death.- It's a wonderful experience if you're a masochist!

Thanks everybody. - So, unless they are to make an exception this time around, we should be getting word any day now. - If they do make an exception, then my fear will be that something is afoot. This, unfortunately, usually means bad/disappointing news, resulting in us getting duffed-up. - Punch-drunk or what?

On reflection, I think I'm wrong about prelims dates being published in calendar. - I'm getting confused here, not unknown these days. I think they are the subject of an RNS and from memory usually fall on a Monday. - Others may be able to shed light on this one.

The 24th April date refers to Q1 quarterly report. -As everybody knows, 'Prelims' always precede the official report and are usually issued within a week or so of the end of the quarter. - So, under normal circumstances, we should be hearing something very soon. However, nothing appears to be normal this year. We didn't receive the Q1 forecast until half-way through the qtr. Usually, the 'Prelim' date is highlighted in the calendar, but for some reason this one isn't. So something strange going on IMO. - If there is no prelim for Q1 this time and we have to wait until 24th April, then we will be half-way through Q2 before any news filters through. - Very odd, and as far as I'm concerned, very worrying. - Could be smoke-n-mirrors in overdrive again.

A couple of years ago the Sp of Cey and Hgm were more or less on a par with each other. - Today, Hgm sp is double that of Cey. - Amazing.
