At least there has been some progress in the SP of late, recovering some of the opening slide. - The big question now is 'Will Q2 allow us to hang on to it and progress from here, or, will they send us back down the mountain where we have been so many times before, leaving us a vertical cliff-face to once again attempt to climb?

Deep down in our minds we have come to associate silence with failure and ultimately shareholder punishment. The current perception is that there has been a change of tac in the way the company are now to report going forward. There is a general acceptance that this must good for everybody, that the company has learned lessons and has turned a page in the way it communicates. - The first chapter in this new book is about to be read. - We'll soon know. - Let's hope we are not once again, victims.

Unless somebody knows something that we don't about Q2 production. - SP in Centamin seems to have no strength/resilience these days. - It takes very little to collapse it and I emphasise very little. A sign of market distrust I feel.

Profit-share takes on a whole new meaning. - I think the word share should be taken out of the description. - Where's our share? We take a 50% hit on the value of our holdings in return for a 3% dividend as a share of profits.
With such largesse, that flows irrespective, it's hardly surprising that their attitude towards shareholders appears to be one of disdain.

The 5% - 20% payments based upon annual-production with an additional 6% to home governorate is an interesting one. - I though payments linked to productivity had been knocked on the head, or am I misinterpreting?

Approaching the Maginot-line. - According to Greyerz, 1350 is the 'Maginot line', a line of resistance. The original Maginot line was a line of defence/resistance built by the French to prevent a German invasion. It was breached in a few days in 1940. - Let's hope it can be breached in a few days in 2019.

Re Trump - Usually I avoid political discourse on this forum, however, in respect of Trump/America trying to buy-up our NHS, all I will add to this is, if they do try, I have no doubt they will be ably assisted from some ministers/politicians from within to achieve this goal. - It's only people first at election time. Other than then, it's direct the wealth of the nation into ones own pocket time.

The end will be in sight when the 'Regulators' and 'Directors' are in the criminal-dock, alongside the minnows who have to take the hit. - In this regard, don't hold your breath. - Any slap on the wrist that may come their way will be in the form of a fine and not a jail-sentence.

I seem to recall that the 3yr forecast is expected in June. - Or am I wrong in that? - The SP is extremely vulnerable now. Any set-back news, eg. Q2 coming in below Q1 and I hate to contemplate the consequences. - It's becoming real scary.
