I'd love to know what was in the small print of the AFC/Nifty contract.
It was portrayed as being a firm sale - text from the RNS below - and early 2025 was the date given. Clearly that isn't happening on schedule; whether it is happening at all is anyone's guess but as it hasn't been mentioned on the IM sessions I think it's fair to say that it seems odds against. So what happened? I have to assume that there were clauses in the contract that allowed Nifty to exit/defer, maybe to do with unit cost reductions but, again, can only guess.
What I can't understand at all is how, when this news was deemed to be price sensitive, its failure/delay can just be ignored and shareholders remain completely in the dark about its ongoing existence or otherwise- this wasn't one of Bond's vague MOUs or partnerships it appeared to be the company's first arms length commercial deal.
