So the Breton Energy chap's post has substance. I can't see that his cost calculations are way off either, nor the likely need for funding. He has of course omitted to mention the potential significance of the cracker but until we get orders/ a material partnership it is just that; potential. It is pretty evident that the chance of success without the cracker becoming commercial are very slim indeed - and that's looking at it rather optimistically.

So, although I'll assume that he has a vested interest, so won't take it at face value, it is not immediately evident to me what is untrue about what he has said,.

Clearly the strategy (was there one?) of the last management was an unmitigated disaster - there was never the slightest realistic prospect that they were going to get any sales/deployments/revenues based on those numbers.

JW appears to be more honest - clearly the jury is out on that but the utter shambles that he was left with isn't his fault.

What's gone has gone, including most of the value we thought we had. They've got the rest of the year realistically to prove that they can turn this thing around or at least find a significant partner.

Multiple units gone to Tamgo - wrong

Speedy units out on deployment and brining in revenue - wrong

400kg of hydrogen being produced daily and being sent out to sites where generators are deployed - wrong

A real £26m order book - wrong

etc. etc. How about showing a bit of humility if it's in your repertoire?

You do know that it can't possibly include anything material that wasn't in yesterday's announcement? We might learn something from tone of voice and facial expressions but that's about it

Their are only two reasons why a price sensitive announcement might be made during the trading day. A time zone issue such as when Bond signed a deal with Altaaqa (that went well) or something totally out of the blue; let's say the factory blowing up

I wonder what funds would be used for if AFC managed to get a chunk of this? We already know that fuel cells need a subsidy if they are to be widely adopted but subsidies aren't productive in the long term, ever. More R&D? Needs some analysis of who can get what and when
