Can you point out where they said they would raise money by private investor finance? And in what form? Because there are only two sorts of finance, realistically:

1. Equity

2. Secured Borrowing (which could come in many forms). We have no assets which could realistically be used in a secured loan - all we have is IP which is commercially unproven and a few bits of equipment. So the only thing it could be secured on is a future income stream, should one exist

Either way the effect on existing shareholders would be dilutive in one form or another, either to their percentage holding or in giving away revenue.

And rest assured, with the business where it is, any borrowing would be on terms that make Wonga look like a charity

Why are we due an update in March? (as per IM meeting). Doesn't tie in with the usual corporate calendar. The few remaining optimists may tie it to the end of the Acciona lease and the stated intention to deliver to Nifty in early '25, but as neither was cited as a priority at the IM it's stretching credibility even further than usual.
