Tonlin, bet quite a few feel the same way. Makes all the arrogant and spiteful posts on here all the more unpleasant.
I’ve had a few responses from AM previously (not recent) and don’t think you’re a mile off on how he reacted to a lot of the abuse. Silence which, of course, only makes the abuse more concerted….

Bit like a jigsaw with a piece missing at the moment. There’ll be more twists to come, but when all is revealed, it’ll all happen pretty quickly IMHO….

Guys, it’s quite obvious that we’re at a crucial juncture for COPL. The stakes are high and many people are working away to their own agendas, so it becomes difficult to know who you can trust. Of course, the simple answer to that is ‘ nobody on here’!
Simple things to remember though:
Overtly positive, rampy poster opinions should be avoided.
Overtly negative, ‘zero positivity’ poster opinions should be avoided.
Poster opinions that swing from positive to negative on a regular basis should be avoided.
Posters who have previously been banned by LSE (previously prolific posters who ‘disappear’ for a couple of days) should be avoided. They get banned for good reason!
Doesn’t leave many, does it?

I’m not convinced it’ll be today, but it must be fairly close. Will only take one substantive price of news to bring back some confidence and momentum.

Taken a few more shares today. Given the scale of what this COULD be (and I’m still not sure on this), I thought the timing was right. Possibly a few leaks emerging too, that was very strange price action and volume this morning. DYOR and be comfortable with your own decisions.
So, let’s hope fortune favours the brave…..

Yep, report was initially commissioned for the RBL lenders, but I’m hearing that the scope has increased significantly since that commissioning. A ‘kill two birds with one stone’ report? Whoever it’s for, it’s on time and more comprehensive than expected.

As for my source, I’ll keep that to myself. Besides, no matter how I answered that there’s no way to verify it, so would be a pointless answer to a pointless question. There is info out there if you dig.

Duster, I wouldn’t bet on seeing an RNS on this tomorrow, but anything is possible. Put it this way, if a JV partner requested a more extensive independent report, they’d want that under NDA until negotiations are completed. If it’s for potential lenders, it would only be disclosed when agreed terms are announced, purely to back up the reserves. I do not know why it’s being done so soon after the last one, nor why the scope has increased, but I have my own thoughts on that.
