From memory I think Scancell said we would get an update on the Modi1 trial before year end. It might be quite exciting, but I give no SP prediction. Goodness knows how many golden crosses will be involved :-)
£80, £8, 24p, 14p, 6p, 5p; we are never short of SP predictions. Wannabe Zak Mirs abound :-) Soon we will have enough data to publish results. I would imagine Lindy is very excited about this.
I would guess there is a long list of companies interested in Scancell's products and especially Moditope. At the previous AGM, Lindy joked that Biontech would not be able to afford Modi1. Biontech are obviously doing something about that by increasing their cash pile :-)
Methinks the increase in trials sites is a good indication of how the SCIB1 and Modi1 trials are progressing. Hopefully we will hear more about this before too long.
"Although the study was not designed primarily to measure tumour response, one patient in the 4mg dose cohort with multiple tumour lesions at study entry had a differential response to treatment including partial or complete regression of all lung metastases. A further two patients who had all their tumours surgically removed prior to SCIB1 treatment have remained disease-free more than a year after first dosing. The vaccine produced very few side effects, none of which were serious."
The SCIB1 trial ended up with that wonderful swim chart. But no deal despite having a super salesman in RG :-) But this was at a time when cancer vaccines just weren't sexy enough. What are the chances that it will be different this time around? Pretty good, I would say.
