My money is on Genmab since they probably know more about Scancell's Glymabs than anyone else.

But who knows?

As you say, the fact that a company is willing to pay $1 million just to exclude other companies from evaluating the product for a 7 month period is highly encouraging.

To me, the presence of Lindy herself at ASCO could have had a lot to do with the intense interest in the Scope trial.

She is well known in both pharma and academic circles. I recall Richard Goodfellow stating that, whenever Lindy got to talk to big pharma directly, they were always impressed by what she was telling them.

I guess the muted reaction is due to the 3 month delay in the next set of results.

That sounds very promising!

I suppose there will always be traders who will bank a nice rise. There will always be MMs, being short of shares, trying to kid people into selling.

Then again there will always be people who consider that, with Scope results due soon (and all the indications are that these will be significantly better that current treatments), that this is not a share to sell prior to these results being announced.

It might not be too long before the SP is derisory once again🤣

The current emphasis in on SCIB1/iSCIB1+ and Modi1 as far as trials are concerned.

Of course, this does not exclude research continuing on the rest of the impressive pipeline and indeed adding to the pipeline.

A substantial deal on either SCIB1/iSCIB1+ or Immunobody will release the brake on other trials with the two prime candidates being Mod12 and the bi-specific antibody combined with a vaccine.

And also let's not forget that a Modi1 trial update is expected soon. Early days, but this update may possibly indicate that Modi1 combined with CIs could produce results comparable to those of the Scope trial.

I seem to remember that, when Scancell were originally looking for an Immunobody deal, the figure bandied around was $1 million. I think this figure was mentioned by Richard Goodfellow at the time. This was at the time of the first SCIB1 trial.

With possible imminent outstanding results for both SCIB1 and iSCIB1+, will LD decide to pursue a iSCIB1+ only deal or will she still want an Immunobody deal?

To me it is quite simple..

Both parties don't want the complication of :

a) Redmile going over the 30% ownership limit

or

b) Scancell having to stump out a big chunk of money when trial data is due soon

or

c) Significant dilution were the CLNs to be exchanged for shares

Postponing the redemption of the CLNs either by cash or by shares is in the best interest of both parties and it shows that Redmile are still singing from the same hymn sheet as Scancell.
