To me, it is an example of how aware Lindy is of other companies' technology and how the technology can by used to improve the effects of Scancell's own technology.

The prime example of this is the combination of checkpoint inhibitors with both Scib1 and Modi1.

Another example is the use of Amplivant with Modi1.

A third example is the use of SnapVax with Modi2.

Lying on the shelf at present, but I'm sure Lindy will have plans for it once funds are available. Possibly that is why Lindy has previously stated that she would prefer a deal on the Immunobody platform as a whole rather than one solely on SCIB1/iSCIB1+.

A trial was due to be progressed by CRUK, but they handed it back to Scancell due to lack of funds during the pandemic.

SCIB2 could be a far more valuable vaccine than SCIB1 due to the potential to treat a number of different cancers.

The Scancell SP is not about whether a buyer has paused buying or actually stopped buying.

It is about the trial data soon to be revealed and then what happens after that

Lindy has mentioned the BMS product in at least one AGM presentation.

She has also stated that she believed that Scancell's approach was superior to that of BMS.

As Bermuda hints, Avidimab may give Scancell the edge over BMS.

The first trial demonstrated the potency in patients where the main tumour had been removed by surgery.

The famous swimchart showed all patients bar 2 surviving for 5 or more years. Lindy seems to be quick to remind interviewers of the results of this first trial.

The current trial is for patients where surgery is not possible. The patient cohort for SCIB1 with 2 checkpoint inhibitors is the one that is attracting all the attention at present. 11 out of 13 patients showing at least a 30% reduction in the tumour in the early results. Updated SCIB1 results are due in Q4 2024.

iSCIB1+ is an updated version of SCIB1 which in theory should be even more potent than SCIB1 (as Lindy said, if you like SCIB1, you're going to love iSCIB1+).

Apart from a predicted more potent response, iSCIB1+ also has 2 other major advantages over SCIB1

a) A much longer patent life

b) It addresses 100% of eligible patients as opposed to SCIB1 which only addresses 30%.

The trial patient numbers for iSCIB1+ are catching up those of SCIB1 and Scancell expect to publish results in Q1 2025.

Since the Vaccitech RNS (Nov 2022) Scancell have changed their strategy to concentrate on the Scope and Modi1 trials.

I would not expect a Modi2 trial to start this year.

An Immunobody or SCIB1/iSCIB1+ deal may change the strategy.
