I used the term dual not cross.
Who else uses dual presentation?
Scancell have always said dual presentation is novel.

I referred to dual presentation = direct presentation + cross presentation.

As I understand it, these 2 types of presentation to the same DC is what gives Immunobody its potency.
Each presentation on its own (direct or cross) results in T Cells with reduced avidity and also less clonal expansion as compared to both together.

I notice the nice picture of how a vaccine works does not show dual presentation to the APC.
I wonder if this makes Covidity unique over all the vaccines in this respect?
Maybe the delivery method will differentiate it further since it is so recently developed.

Another advantage of a 2nd generation vaccine is that Lindy has much more recent research to help her.

Perhaps another reason to have long living high avidity memory T Cells. An attack can be quickly remounted if the virus should re-appear whether from hiding or a new infection.

Could it be stalemate between the virus and the immune system?
