The language is MQL4 which is basically C++ with loads of useful routines added to help trading.
I find it fascinating and frustrating at the same time. So, you have to accumulate the data which of course a program can do in a split second and then depending on the type of data you have a routine that is designed to process that type of data. Then you also have reasons not to trade which are also based on data.
Most of the time is taken in analysis and testing and very little time on the actual programming. Unlike conventional systems, there are no certainties.

The whole idea is that it is a rigged market controlled by banks and hedge funds. So I try to determine where they are buying and selling.

My program would only work on a large market anyway. It would have zero chance of working with SCLP.

I just think that TA in the main is a load of twaddle.
A quick glance at a chart will tell you if the SP has momentum. Why do you need TA to tell you this?
The exception IMO are support and resistance levels.
Our old friend 10p came to the rescue recently. Traders look at these levels when deciding whether to buy or sell.

I am writing a trading program and before starting this, I studied TA and came to the conclusion that Technical Indicators were useless. None of the literature actually explains convincingly why a particular mathematical formula works.
So I ended up basing my program purely on price action and trying to anticipate turning points. I still have a way to go but as I progress I become more certain that I have chosen the better of the 2 options - TA or Price action.

I have to admit that I started with absolutely zero knowledge of trading and it has taken me a long time to understand the data the program needs to make good decisions. Its more suitable to a team of analysts and programmers rather than a 1 man project :-)

Highlights

All agreed that a big problem is manufacture and keeping billions of people immunised
All agreed that 2nd gen vaccines have to bring something extra over and above those of the 1st generation

Sally explained exactly what that extra is in the case of Covidity. She emphasied
a) the extra avidity provided by Avidimab
b) the targeting of the N protein
c) Immune memory

Daniel Smith emphasised the ease of producing DNA vaccines when compared to other types.

It would be difficult to prove 2nd gen vaccines on the older population since most will have been vaccinated already.
Interesting that Matti's view was that it was more important to prove it works on younger people since they are more likely to spread the virus.

I would assume that the antigens targeted only exist in significant numbers on Covid19 cells or Covid19 infected cells.

This article seems to a summary of promising antigens using other scientist's research. IMO very useful to scientists looking for those elusive antigens to target.

Lindy did say that she was excited about the combination of Modi1 and Modi2 at the 2019 AGM. I wonder whether this combination will now figure in the research program now that Modi2 is pre-clinical.

Yes, but we know the spike protein mutates and most vaccines including Pfizer/Biontech's and Moderna's only target this protein.
Lindy had the foresight to target both the S protein and also the non-mutating N protein that is also common to all Coronaviruses.
I'm not saying that vaccines aimed at the S protein will or will not cope with mutations. Each mutation needs to be tested to determine one way or the other.

Plus no doubt, no evidence that the new variant will respond to the vaccine.
Han****'s statement was political and not scientific. A scientist would have said that we need to test the vaccine against the new variant.

Yes, let's hope cancer trials get going again as the vaccine starts to have an effect. If your estimated start dates are reasonably accurate, we do have a wait before the planned fireworks on Nov 5th :-)

One thing we can be fairly sure about is that Lindy's team(s) will be working hard.
