I sounds like Professor Dixon is very taken with DNA and other similar vaccines and looking for new way to deliver them.
It very much looks like this is follow on work from the main Covidity project.

This was a post to use Immunobody to investigate if it could be used against other infectious diseases in addition to Covid19.
I wonder if you remember this and can readily find the link you posted.

Didn't someone (I think it might have been WTP) provide a link for a new research post at Nottingham Uni.
From memory the new post was to investigate Immunobody (and presumably enhanced with Avidimab) to look at applying these platforms to attack other infections.
Just a reminder to those new to this BB, Immunobody can be used to develop vaccines against any epitope or epitopes. Of course, the skill is identifying the epitopes to target and making sure they are not expressed by healthy cells.

I agree on the best case scenario. It would also be a great endorsement of the vaccine.

Even better if we can start/restart the 2 cancer trials sometime in 2021 and concentrate on these.

You are right, it is a delivery method developed by Notts Uni.
However, the peptides to use with the delivery system have to be decided on and tested. The peptides need to be designed to give the vaccine entry into soft muscle cells and also the antigen presenting cells.

This seems to be the area of work that is on the critical path.

As far as we know they are still working on the delivery.
Lindy did say at the AGM that work is on-going and we have heard nothing since.

In all seriousness it is impossible to value Scancell.
We just have to hope that Lindy's exceptional science will be translated into equivalent trial results over the coming months and years.
SN14 (what a boring name) does possibly showcase 2 of Lindy's innovations.

Well MMs set the price do they not?
Be it a Dealing desk broker or a straight through broker there has to be someone or something to set the price.
I must admit to never have studied the process for setting the price and spread. It's not an area I am an expert in.

I do have a basic understanding of the 2 types of forex brokers.
When I am ready I will probably start with a dealing desk broker (bookmaker) but move quickly to a straight through broker.
To do my testing I mainly use Dukascopy data (a Swiss bank) which I believe is more accurate and reliable than data from a dealing desk broker. But I do in fact also use the data supplied by FXCM for comparison purposes.

Any advice on brokers would be most welcome. :-)

AB yes the EURUSD opens at 10 pm Sunday and stays open for 5 days solid. There is often a sizable gap on opening and I am currently investigating trading opportunities going against the gap but you have to see the right price action to trade.

It was actually very refreshing to listen to 3 scientists talking about vaccines rather than listening to politicians and civil servants discussing the same subject. Of course they will plug their particular vaccine if given the chance as Sally did when asked about Covidity. I got far more from this discussion than any of the government's daily briefings.

There is always radio silence around the science until Lindy sees fit to publish research. Even Lindy cannot predict how long it will take. But we are told that Scancell are still talking to the collaborator.

I am actually doing some analysis at the moment on price action on Sunday evening (when the market opens). Quite often there is a large gap and it very much looks like the MMs often gap to a price to suit a large investor. But that would be market rigging and we know that never happens :-)

Yes AB, that's a good summary of why my program would not work on a small market. It is just too unpredictable and you simply don't get the price action I am looking for.

Back to Scancell.
I think the SP will react to deals and/or data. It may also react to getting one or more trials started i.e. the promise of data to come. Look at IMM and their phase 3 trial.
On a deal, we know that a mAb deal was on the cards. Now Scancell have decided to do more research work before going back to their collaborator. Smart move, if they are confident of presenting more compelling evidence.
On trials, Covidity is awaiting the delivery to be developed which is not being carried out by Scancell staff. Then it will have to be tested.
The cancer trials are awaiting the green light to re-start trials. It would be interesting to know if the latest 2 appointments are having an effect in this area.
