Have I got this right ATYM still owe €43.9m the Master Agreement with Astor, in addition €9.1m to Shorthorn, non of this has been repaid due to the Court of Appeal case and the confusion over "excess cash" which has not been defined how to calculate it.
So ATYM are limited at present to €10m profit any more and this should go to Astor, and as things stand there is no signed agreement between the two resolving how this debt should be repaid.

Are Atalaya saving all their cash pile for the construction of Proyecto Touro ($165m) to avoid paying a dividend here?
Come the end of Q4 they will have approx $25m in the coffers, and a hell of a lot more this time next year, at first glance I can't see anything else that requires the cash, surprised the sp is on a downward trend, I know the Copper price isn't breaking any records but the company seems to be doing fine, good jurisdiction no political issues.

Excellent RNS from FCRM in turbulent times, the £30m sale of pipe assets to be complete by the end of March £17m paid then, another £6.5m this year the rest in tranches over 4 years.
Dunamis performing well with contract wins and the business performance in line with forecasts.
The cash received will be used to pay off debts of approx £12m, so £5m spare and more to come, I think this puts us in a strong position going forward with cash to expand existing parts of business when needed.

Can it be more than coincidence that this additional interest in FCRM has come about since the change in strategy selling of piping assets and when that transaction has gone through cash positive again, no debt and with cash for other opportunities that are out there.
Hope that is one of reasons as well as being well diversified in other areas which will benefit from government infrastructure investment.

Not so worried about corona virus in India if you look at where it has spread it is mainly in colder climates not so much South America or Africa but we in the Northern hemisphere are still in our winter, so hopefully come warmer weather we will see a decrease in the effects of the virus.
No one has been suggesting boosting your immune system with vitamins to give individuals greater resistance, and it does seem that those effected worse are immune compromised either by age or other conditions or run down due to working flat out doctors etc
Maybe this sell off is using the virus as excuse when generally stocks are overvalued especially in the US and economies are weak hence central banks still printing money to prop things up, debt has never been as high as it now with interest rates so low.
Markets may fall a lot further yet looking at historical falls check out the FTSE 100 over the 20 years falling 2003 and 2009 from approx 7000 ish to 3750 ish, I am waiting for the world recession, of course blamed on the virus, not the debt burden of governments worldwide.

I take your point but if take €28 million tax to Israel out out of it only about €30m down and that won't be happening again, so it is down but not a disaster.

Ignore the impairment charge on intangible assets, which is accountants playing with numbers but have no meaningful impact on the business, accounting grabs the headline that ptec are posting a loss, but what I was looking at is the ebitda/debt ratio which has risen but still manageable at 1.57 so its not a basket case.
They could sell the trading business to pay down some debt if they feel they can't turn it round, but all in all its a lot different from what I was expecting, good luck with your trade at these levels a don't think your going to lose your shirt.

Looks like the future is not going to plan, so its not managements fault, its the virus, or that's what they would like you to believe.

Looking at the Italian outbreak the deaths were from the elderly 70's & 80's so that suggests a weaker immune system I know younger people have died in China doctors but they were probably working flat out, run down and surrounded by infected people so perhaps again a low immune system.

Hello Buck if this virus gets out of hand and progresses to a pandemic then any lockdowns would be pointless so it would spread worldwide run its course with all the devistation that would cause. I don't see any safe havens perhaps physical gold.
Ultimately everything would drop back to a sustainable level, currencies would also be affected if it gets that bad so if you are in £s what might that be worth? who knows we are living through a sad time, especially for those who are ill, however less than 100k have caught the virus and I think the situation is being manipulated media, governments and markets as an excuse for a correction.

Don't forget about the debt (Debt/EBITDA) 3.7 ish if the cruises underperform then this will go higher, forecast to go higher next year to 4.5 ish and that's if alls good.

Listened to the presentation web cast yesterday, loads of information and very well presented covered all areas of the business and the objectives going forward.
The company seems to be run by a competent management team who know the in and outs of oil business, the fields they have bought and how to get the most out by improving efficiency and extending the life of the fields.
Looking forward they have finance's in place to pick and choose the what they consider the best buys from operators leaving the waters around Australia and Asia in general plus of course there is Vietnam to develop, all in all looking good.

Down nearly 7% on approx £70k sells, so very low volume and the sp movement no indication what's so ever about what's going on here.
Not long before the WCP move which I am sure will have the interest of many, hopefully the virus scare will pass as we move into warmer weather and allow all of us living in the northern hemisphere the chance for our immune systems response to get stronger.

Full year update tomorrow looking at buys/sells today there seems to be more buys even though sp is down 5% ish so no mass sell off in anticipation of poor results maybe stops being hit and tomorrow hopefully a bounce on news that future is going to plan.

It's my belief that trials are not required for vaccines, so company's that produce them avoid this obstacle to market if approved by a country the liability falls on the state not the company so if something goes wrong they avoid any financial compensation claims, they must come from the state.
I stand to be corrected if this is not so.

Taken a small position here on the drop, I would agree I see the solar developments being sold to provide more cash for the business, but in their position a would prefer the cash to be used to pay down the debt as that is the major burden.

Great set of results today and all the positives have been mentioned in the posts today, sad to see Terry step down, however nobody seems to be pondering over the challenges ahead as to my mind they have zero control over any of them and each could impact the business going forward although with the power outages they seem to be coping well enough, these are the only dark clouds over what is a very positive update.
Challenges

· Power utility infrastructure and supply issues resulting in distribution interruptions and instability continue to present challenges to existing operations and the execution of our expansion processes;

· Intermittent rainfall and water shortages remain a key focus of the Group with mitigatory measures continuing to be explored to assist in the reduction of overall water losses in tailings; and

· Potential retrenchments at some of the host mines due to the depressed chrome market, has necessitated the review of the Group's plant feed strategy.
