Finarlies......Talk about smoking, last Saturday was the 75th anniversary of my giving up smoking. I set fire to the school field and my arse still reverberates from the punishment! Yes perhaps I was harsh on our new Health Minister but it is rather a poor example to the majority of people who are trying to be healthy, (says he pouring out a large vodka).Just come back from meeting my old school pal and of course, we forget we could play in the road, walk safely to school with our health permanently formed by 13 years of rationing, with yet another dose of activity, being called up in the military forces. So it is tough nowadays to force yourself to be active and there is unfortunately an increasing division between those who have the given opportunity and the rest. We never heard of mental illness in society. My school friend survived being bombed out twice and losing his father, killed in the last month of the war. A great guy.

Sad Affair......Wow,it's certainly there @ GGP! The BOD has definitely screwed them and things look extremely iffy with far too many shorts taken out recently. Apologies for mentioning another share, but EUA holders are almost top of the list of GGP investors. It is certainly on my list when we get our deal!

Agreed a great post! Just returned from Greenland J(massive icebergs ,and huge mining potential, both caused by global warming).Met a previous director of British Coal who travelled the world marketing coal .Now to the point.....The most problematic nations to deal with were Japan, China then Russia in that order. So that rather explains, together with the deep analysis by lovely boy,the challenges our BOD has faced.

Ricardo 2019...an excellent summing up Russia has managed 1 km a day advance in the Donbas, with horrendous attrition rendering towns almost inhabitable for many years. There seems to be a strategic pause, or have the Ukrainians really diminished Soviet resources as reported by USA and British military (optimistic? ) sources. September weather, if wet is forecast by those sources as a real problem for advancing troops. Who the hell wants this horrific wasteland after this conflict.
