EpicOG........Rollover is achieved by buying the same number of shares for another 20 trading days ,when you have initially taken out a t20 which has come to an end. T20 is only granted by your SB if you have a large number of shares held with them. They will tell you just what you are allowed if you apply .It's a good punt if you think the deal is imminent, or today's price is too low, which is what most of us think!

My school was bombed (nearby) my fiancee's wendy house had 3 firebomb Fritz and 1 on her dolls pram just 3n metres away from the garden airaid shelter- put out by the ARP who were in the road. My school friend, who I see every week, was bombed out twice and then his father was killed in the last week of the war. So you no doubt ,being a baby, SLEPT through the lot! If anyone is interested about how it felt for boys, cos for most of us it was a fantastic adventure, see the film Hope and Glory. Not good for mental health-this minute to minute looking at share prices. It took me a long time to try to understand the trends and manipulation of the market, previously losing a lot of dosh by panic buying and selling. My rules are buy on Friday around lunchtime and obviously sell on good news as soon as it appears. There are weak times in pretty well every day-from 9.30 and at lunchtime when you can get a bargain. This worked last week for me when selling EUA on Wednesday for my daughters and fiancee and their buying them back on Friday with just 0.2 difference. Would have been even better if the Banks had been quicker, but due diligence had to be in place, which you cannot argue with. Brill

On death, the Proceeds in cash, in my case as a widower, can be allocated to my next of kin (my daughters) without IHT.You are exactly correct that I cannot leave the ISA Shares, only their value.Any other shares would have to be wrapped up in a Trust to avoid IHT, as well, of course as my widoweres allowance of 650k plus 325k house. We ordinary people are the ones being caught up in this inequitable tax,whereas the late Duke of Westminster paid nothing on 9.3 Billion, which included at least 3 domestic properties, so how the hell did they get round that? Bye the way, I have a Comfortable Cushion of losses from E U A(a lovely phrase from an ADVN poster ) selling my shares as my fiancee and I and my late wife explored pretty well all of the world. And the losses cannot be put against IHT ,so the holidays are already booked!

There was a post on Friday informing me that as a widower, I could not pass on my ISAS shares free of IHT, that it had to be left to a spouse or a partner. I am happy to report this is incorrect, and you can nominate ANYONE to benefit from your ISAS free of IHT. So this is really interesting, as some wives or husbands will be shaking in their boots, thinking will he/ she be leaving it to their girl/ boy friends......!!

Piquet 68.....As posted before, I totally agree that holding on to possible share swap or dividend payment would be very beneficial at least for 5 years, after which there will possibly be a diminution in the price of pd and the fulfillment of production of the mine.Speculation of course, like all investment, but an interesting possibility. Thanks Kernowlad.Quite right, certain AIM shares ,like financials, are not allowed in those avoiding IHT.My F/ Advisor ,a member of an international group has told me that my daughters are eligible under the rules ,but I will cheque again with another adviser. Thanks again.

IF it's AA or NN ,and there is a share swap offered, I would certainly go with that Company on my ordinary shares. With my ISAS, choices would be more difficult, for you have to remain in AIM to have the double coverage of CGT and IHT, which is a really good insurance, especially from my experience of my wife dying at 57,followed by her brother at 59.So ,we think at any age we're immortal, but it ain't necessarily so.

Might have been posted before, cos I only look occasionally but is it possible the BOD are looking to pay their CGT in January 2023.? The new financial year is only a few weeks away, so boys and girls ,we might have another year before paying for our ill gotten gains!!

For ISA to be used to be free of IHT, it must remain in an AIM share BUT not one in a purely financial sector. Look up Google AIM and IHT for more specific information and the S/Bs and Trusts they list to make certain you pick the correct investment.

Normal Feb/ March profit taking ,exacerbated this year by the prospect of 40% tax on short term gains- now that is behind us fundamentals are foremost, so look forward to a steady recovery in the share price.

Looks like the normal profit taking in Feb./ March ,heightened this year by the prospect of 40% on short term gains, is beginning to ebb.Shares will once more be valued on fundamentals, so PYC should progress steadily.
