Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
*Recent and today's sells could probably linked to the massive sell off when Russia invaded Ukraine If you were a reasonably substantial shareholder you might not have been able to fully protect your investment through ISA ,.so now is the time to sell to cover your CGT
If you owe CGT at the end of the month, BEWARE, because you will not receive a calculated demand from HMRC. This has happened since Covid, so calculate it yourself (or your accountant) and you will not be fined. Bye the way, nice to see that sensible posts concerning the Russian tax on sale of assets have proved reasonable correct ie.no big panic selling ic
The Russian business community will be aghast at this proposal. They are hit by a huge recession and this will surely excasibate this situation. It is a sign proclaiming Don't Invest in Russia. There are dire consequences for their economy.
Please remember that Russia chose EUA above all other mining companies to represent RUSSIA at the Canadian International Exhibition ,and that the majority shareholder is Russian with the only Director with any British connection is Christian who is Irish, so NOT British. Just a balancing post amidst negativity.
FCA investigated Pello Capital Stockbroker last Autumn with suspension of dealing for nearly two months. They then declared that they were innocent of any misdemeanors. Pello because of this investigation, has lost clients and is now closing down .Jarvis is taking over their clients so there is no loss to investors, unlike other Stockbrokers that were forced into administration by this horrific organisation.
Layla.....Yes I sold off as many Ordinary shares as I could before the invasion, so now the majority is ISA, which having kept them for over 2 years are also free of IHT,which as an ancient person ,is imperative. No!.....I did not buy 2 years ago @44p,but as a long term investor 0.5 p is my average.
With CGT and Dividends today threatened for tax rises after April 6th, it is imperative that the BOD get this deal done asap.A cash sale to my mind would be preferable because Dividends could be messy .Now MAC4671, how many hurdles are left? I seem to remember two, but will leave it to you who has all the research at your fingertips. Bye the way nice to see NN reiterated in the last RNS ,or was it what the detractors post, paste on paste again!
Tyga/ MrWolfe.......went to school there at the bottom of Penny Lane Just been to my school friend's funeral today. He and 3 other special forces captured over 400 communists in 2 years in the Malayan War. He was awarded the MBE as a National Servicemen. If a regular it would have been a Military Cross. Wonderful modest guy. RIP.
Sounds reasonable positive. Apologies if already mentioned (I've been on holiday) the dollar/ pound rate makes it much cheaper for any potential buyer, presuming that this is still the international recognized business currency conversion in Russia. Experts please confirm!
Mooching...."sanctions are loosening "".Perhaps so, but already Russian GGP has dropped to 7.8% with the forecast by the UN financial agency that if the war stops now, it will take until 2030 for Russia to catch up on all fronts ,but mainly on the latest technology.
Sorry Tillywhiz, Putin is NOT a Cossack. They are the incredible warriors from the Don region who are his opponents. Lovely alliteration of the C,but I can think of another C to describe Putin which would be more appropriate!
Ohmni..........just finishing Stephen Fry's "Troy"".Here is his incredible wisdom about War..."We know how brutal soldiers can be. Years of homesickness, hardship and the loss of comrades while under the constant danger of life threatening injury harden the heart and stifle the small voice of mercy. Whatever country we are from, and however proud we may be of our national claims to tolerance, honour and decency, we cannot dare assume that armies fighting under our flag have not been guilty of obscene atrocities".What more can one add? And by the way ,yes,I have read Stalingrad twice, together with every translated Russian book in my teenage years with especial mention of " Quiet Flows the Don" by Mikhail Sholokov, the 1935 Priz.Prize for Literature. So relevant today about the Cossaks defying the Soviets. Include my 5 visits to Russia and the Ukraine and my admiration of Putin in2011 when he granted the special medal to our Merchant Navy sailors who had been on those terrible Arctic convoys to Murmansk, beating our ignorant government by a year.
Ohnmi........Putin has just sacked the general who made this according to you, brilliant strategic withdrawal. Perhaps Putin should strengthen his already formidable batch of Commisars to prevent any further withdrawal. According to the files in St Petersburg (hastily closed in 2010) Commisars were responsible for killing 800,000 Russian soldiers who had retreated or deserted in the 2ndWWar.
Apologies...cut off.Russia has not had to fight this kind of war since Afghanistan ( maybe a bit in Chetnea) They have stood off and shelled cities. The way the Ukrainians have deployed their limited resources is brilliant, hitting the Crimea .panicking Russian holiday makers, hitting ammunition dumps and generating confusion and uncertainty everywhere with obviously sympathisers or guerrillas behind enemy lines.
Miz man....Russian Regular troops to be involved soon. They were there at the very start of the invasion and were subjected to a debilitating guerrilla warfare with Command Structure being targeted par excellence. As a sergeant in the 1950s the mantra was to hit the officers first then get the other commanders and that had always been so in history, with the Ukrainians taking it to another level. Remember them destroying 60 Senior officers at dinner time in a command post well behind Russian lines? Also at least 6 Russian generals have been killed. The point is that Russia has not had t
Back again referring to our unhealthy Health Secretary. From an unimpeachable source who sees her regularly, she is a SMOKER. Posts me who had it beaten out of me at the age of 10 for setting the School field on fire. Apologies for my smugness BUT I do make up for it with my lovely happy juice, Vodka! Which reminds me has she hidden the bottle?
Finarlies......Talk about smoking, last Saturday was the 75th anniversary of my giving up smoking. I set fire to the school field and my arse still reverberates from the punishment! Yes perhaps I was harsh on our new Health Minister but it is rather a poor example to the majority of people who are trying to be healthy, (says he pouring out a large vodka).Just come back from meeting my old school pal and of course, we forget we could play in the road, walk safely to school with our health permanently formed by 13 years of rationing, with yet another dose of activity, being called up in the military forces. So it is tough nowadays to force yourself to be active and there is unfortunately an increasing division between those who have the given opportunity and the rest. We never heard of mental illness in society. My school friend survived being bombed out twice and losing his father, killed in the last month of the war. A great guy.
