Member Info for Rangor

Just had a quick look at the GKP board on advfn to see where gkp finished today (it's like a bar brawl in there!). So it nipped over 300 but looks like fell back to just under 3. Maybe/hopefully genel's turn to hit £3 and upwards next.

If the Turkish situation get worse, what is the actual effect on current Genel income? Surely the only thing that would effect genel income is PoO and volumes sold. Or am I missing a crucial piece of value chain for all that oil they are bringing out of ground?

I've no time to do the sums but roughly how much does the 0.81% reduction in bilgin account for the volume of sells over the past week? if bilgin have been taking some (substantial) profits and selling a few shares would that account for the lacklustre SP?

Well I don't get it. Great H1 results, good progress. By all means of valuing a company Genel SP should be several GBP higher. What does the rest of the market see that we don't to cause the SP to languish under £3. Is it just poor PR from G?

Does anyone think what's happening in Turkey is pushing genel SP down? Just wondering if there's some panic over potential Turkish recession and it affecting the region including Kurdiland and gas and oil projects?

Hi Hawkey Have a look at Vodafone. Its near the bottom of a very old trading range. Pays a very good dividend. Lots of exposure to large growing markets (India, although some political /tax problems at the moment). Buying Liberty in Germany. Global Need for data increasing.

Well done JL. A fine win from a fine poster. I'm sticking with 339 for next week. Overly optimistic I know, but I'm sure we'll hit it soon enough. I just keep telling myself to be patient. Only problem is I've been patient with genel for bloody years!
