Any of you experienced investors signed up to and use sharesoc?
I am thinking about it as its cheap to sign up and seems like it would be useful.

But the FT comments are prefaced with the words :
... a nice bit O&G fantasy M&A from Peel Hunt....

So I doubt there's much truth behind any suggestion of a genel+GKP scenario.

She is the Chief Executive Officer of the Turkish arm of Shell Oil. She was elected as The Most Powerful Woman Manager in Turkey in 2003. She has also obtained many other awards from finance newspapers.

I'm all for hydrogen as it has loads of advantages but it also has disadvantages such as storage and transportation difficulties, plus expensive to produce (at least at the moment).

Anyone got any idea whether genel received the payment it was due on the 15th May?
Given the recent issues of payments from krg it seems unlikely that genel wouldn't issue an RNS if they had been paid. But on the other hand the SP is holding up quite well which is odd if we they haven't received payment.

Anyone got a sensible guess as to what the SP might be if gas given a the green light?
its a while since I had a detailed look but seem to remember that the gas assets are not currently included in the company's valuation.

Hydrogen fuel is very interesting, and I'd like to know which companies you've been looking as Hasiba or anyone else (if you don't mind divulging!)
one issue with hydrogen is the pressure and sometimes cooling required for storage.

One of the huge advantages of hydrogen over batteries is energy density (pressure and cooling allowing). For any aircraft, large people carriers to small drones, hydrogen is surely the way to go, as its provides so much more energy per weight than Li batteries. There are companies developing hydrogen PEM cells for drones which allow almost double the payload capacity and 3 x the flight time compared to LiPo batteries.

Certainly seems like things are moving forward behind the scenes.

FCF for 2019 $153mill Pro forma.
which was enough for $42 Mill worth of dividends being issued.
But estimated FCF for 2020 is only $100mill
presumably there will be an increase in opex due to new wells. So I can't see them increasing the dividend much this year.

Also I worry slightly that whatever is still owed from 2019 may not materialise, perhaps feeding into whatever mechanism is required to get the gas legal documents sorted out by KRG.

Going to be an interesting day. One the one hand oil payments are in and div payment, on the other air strikes in Erbil US airbase.
