Mmmm, not sure how the market is going to react to this news. Waiting another 12 months for a new agreement, with the possibility that nothing will be agreed and krg could terminate the PSC. But it does sound like some kind of progress has been made on the plan to develop the BB oil to fund the gas. It would have been useful to have a clearer idea of time line for the development.

Bunks, ah yes, you're correct. There are two UTs reported on the page I was looking at, one at 16:35:02 for 219.50p, then one at 16:35:06 for 216.50p.

UT was 219.50 which I think was same as yesterday

Regarding the 2.8 mill shares bought yesterday, isn't that just slightly more than 10% of the ordinary shares available (27.9 mill)? Shouldn't we be getting an RNS declaring who bought that quantity?

Good info and reply, thanks justinD and FFT. Some great info in the Q&A. It's just so frustrating to see the SP getting hammered down after all the great news and prospects.

So, the board are meeting with the bond holders on Monday to discuss allowing of a dividend this year even though the company made a loss on paper. Anyone got any thoughts on why the bondholders would agree to relaxing the rules and a dividend being paid? Are there any benefits for the bondholders? Why would they risk their own payments to support share holders? I guess there will be some bondholders who also own shares.

More buys than sells reported but again the closing price is down.

Much better to get a dividend and then reinvest if you want. If your shares are in an ISA then there's no tax anyway.

JL, the big problem with genel doing a buy back rather than dividend is that there ain't that many shares available to buy. If the Co. started buying their own shares the SP may rocket and suddenly those buy back prices aren't so good.

There was a UT at 12:02 for £305 @205.00p, then no trades until 12:43. Then about £36000 worth of sells in small bits. I have no idea why or if it means anything.
