That's pretty much it, often you cant get a quote for larger volume so break it down into smaller trades or as you say get a better price for smaller amounts

Someone keen to add here today, the 50k block buyer, 500k delayed buy and now the 610k paying over the ask at 3.2p.

The RCF has been on the backburner for a long time now (but still on the table) and has progressed to direct investment from the counterparty for which they are working on a framework to allow for additional future investment following their initial investment. As per the previous update this has attracted the attention of other big name parties also looking to make a direct investment and possible RCF type facility. Reread the last update RNS it's all in there and there's so much more going on. I think a lot will happen relatively quickly once the prospectus is published.

And speaking of "getting out" whoever sold 15.7 million in one hit didnt have any problems.

Anybody that's "trapped" in here was buying at much higher levels than 3p. You cant possibly say you dont get into a stock you cant get out of, ANY stock could go belly up and you're stuck, that's one of the risks of investing, you ought to know that. Why do you think there'll be a raise? I'm genuinely interested in your answer here.

It's a worked buy. I could sell up to 1.2 million around lunchtime at 2.5p not a snowflakes chance in hell would anyone be able to sell that many at 2.7p

Well the last week of October is upon us. Looking forward to the update, so much been foing on since the last update, it's all rather exciting.
@rambo23 was right about looking again at the last update, some really great snippets in there which, if they come to fruition, should propel the company to great new heights. Thankfully the last few sessions have seen some decent sized buys thereby reducing the already small free float by a few million more, meaning that when GS does release the news we are gonna fly as every man, woman and their neighbours dog will want to hold ALGW, granted there'll be the traders who will make some good money but we investors will make a whole lot more. Cant wait to read what GS has to say

MMs skipped 2.8 completely so maybe dont have too much stock after thatv1 million buy yesterday. Bodes well for a good afternoon as positions being taken ahead of news on multiple fronts which should start to come through next week. Would be nice to see a close above 3p but any buying pressure could well see a lot higher given how quickly this moves

What would you consider as unequivocal progress? The acquisition has seen AUM grow to in excess of $300 million, the RCF partner will be making a direct investment AND provide the $100 million facility, Eaton partners onboard and discussions with Tier 1 names. Crikey if that's not unequivocal progress then I dont know what is

Daisy you're on a real downer at the moment, for your own mental health I would suggest just switching off from ALGW for a while or sell up. Nowhere has it ever been stated that updates would come on a specific date or in a specific week just that they would be done on a quarterly basis. I personally think the "delay" is because GS is hoping to get something else released before the update be that the prospectus, change of broker or RCF. I'm certainly not concerned and looking forward to what he has to say when he is ready to say it and if that's this week or next week I'm happy to wait. It's an opportunity for adding to the family pool of holdings ;-)

Was hoping to get a bit more profit out of this trade but profit is profit. Money into MOS now for next news there. Hope GR doesnt screw any of you further with a 16:31 placing RNS. I'll be back for the next trade

Premier African Minerals LTD (AIM:PREM), the AIM listed mining and natural resources company, is pleased to announce, an offer via PrimaryBid (the "Offer") of new ordinary shares of nil par value in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") at an issue price of 0.1 pence per New Ordinary Share (the "Issue Price"), being a discount of 20 per cent to the closing mid-price on 10 December 2019.

Snowking the last 2 placing may well have been at a 10% discount, but that doesnt mean to say the next one wont be at a 20% discount, he's done it before when the SP was much higher, I point you in the direction of the primary bid placing a mere 2 years ago, 20% discount at 0.1p. What value have those participants and anyone holding since then gained in the 2 years following? None whatsoever, more dilution (at a 10% discount), still waiting for the imminent Circum, $20 million from the Zim gov for RHA plus god knows what else. George hasnt a clue what he is doing and PREM offers no value to anyone investing, just a traders dream right now. Once GR steps aside then it might be worth investing in

I'd expect a rise of circa 25% or more knowing how the herd will arrive of the results are good. The placees will be inside so therefore cannot buy or sell (legally) at current prices but a nice discount and a few warrants thrown in for good measure will be attractive to some. I'm here for the trade on news, fastest finger first takes the profits, everyone else gets left waiting for the next carrot to be dangled

Wouldn't be surprised if GR is already talking to potential places ahead of releasing the RNS (hence the delay on "imminent") telling them what's in it and offering a nice 20% discount on the closing price after the RNS is released. Or will it be a 4:31 RNS offering for primary bid either way it's coming and shortly after the results are released

George is an old dog that cant learn new tricks. I'd expect the raise to come a day or 2 after the results RNS (assuming the results are good). Fastest finger first banks the profits

Until GR steps down this company isnt going to achieve anything more than continually raising funds on the back of some good news. Lots of carrots being dangled and nothing really achieved. Hopefully the assays will be good and see a spike followed by the inevitable raise a few days later. Always good for a trade though, fastest finger first to take the profits
