This acquisition is a great move for the company, as has been made clear in the RNS its brought the AUM of the insurance business from Zero to about $650 million in about 12 months. That means consistent "sticky" revenue. The Guernsey acquisition has close to 4000 active policies. These policies will be funded via a monthly premium. How much a month does an average life insurance policy cost? Let's say £25 as an average, multiply that by 4000 and you get a nice round £100k or about $131k
Then theres revenue from the AUM of the insurance side of the business $650 million generating revenues of say 0.5% that's around $270k a month.
Now let's move on to the BOAGF currently sitting on $50 million AUM. 1% (net) revenue is $500k, then theres the bonus element. Assuming the fund achieves the top end of its target returns then the company receives 10% of those profits so an additional $750k that totals $1.25 million, however that is shared with SL assuming a 50:50 split that's an additional $625k for ALGW so a total of $1.125 million annually or $93750 per month.
Add all of those numbers together and you're looking at potential monthly revenues of just short of $494750 or annual revenues of $5937000
That's just with what we currently have along with the Guernsey acquisition when its completed.
As AUM increases for each side of the business it's easy to see just how crazy the potential here is.

This isn't a PR exercise, this is a promotional campaign to highlight the investment opportunities the company can provide to those savvy enough to be looking at SLS investments and specifically ALGW and the potential returns that the company can offer. Most companies do promotional material in the form of brochures or videos and use actors of varying fame in those materials. Michael Parkinson is still advertising over 50s life insurance (still giving away Parker Pens), Maureen Lipman advertised for Lloyd's Bank and more famously for BT. I dont imagine for one minute that the prospective investors in the ALGW offerings (mainly (U)HNWI clients in the US) will have a clue who Michael Greco is and even less of a clue who Beppe Di Marco was in Eastenders. As far as they're concerned he is just the guy in the video presenting the opportunities that ALGW offer.
As for the publicity that Michael and David Haye provide via twitter, well quite frankly, they have a following, David Haye has over 1 million followers on twitter, Michael Greco has over 10k followers. Their tweets are free publicity for the company, no different to you or I posting a tweet about the company but their reach is far greater. Imagine if just 0.5% of David Haye 1 million followers bought just £100 each of ALGW shares, what would that do for the share price?

Just to be clear I'm not saying that Mark Ward is buying, just that I can see a pattern in the value of the trades that is similar to a previous occasion when we know he was buying

Noticed that the buying from around 1pm today follows a similar pattern to one I've seen before. Trades valued at £4963 or can be added up to around that price was a pattern that occurred a while ago when Mark Ward was buying on the open market. Will we see a TR1 in the morning showing Mark increasing his holding to above 21%, would certainly be a sign of confidence on his part given how much he already has invested here

I added more this morning at 76.5 showing as unknown so I would suggest that all the unknowns are buys

The West isnt totally reliant on oil and gas supplies from Russia, theres plenty available from other sources.

Fabulous RNS this morning, Mark Ward brings a wealth of experience to the company. I'm looking forward to seeing how the "insurtech" side of things brings the Alpha products to a wider market, further increasing AUM and subsequently revenues. Market has reacted well, 20% up as I write this with more to come as the market realises what the company is capable of achieving. DS $100 million mcap and more easily achievable. That's an SP of over 20p with current shares in issue or just over 16p fully diluted. Upside potential is massive

Would it not make sense for anyone looking to get hold of Zulu just to buy Prem? At current mcap its gonna be cheaper to buy the company and get 100% of Zulu and the EPO area rather than a percentage of Zulu on its own

Hearing that a large buyer has been looking to add to their position today. Expecting a delayed 1 million plus buy to appear at some point before close

Since their son lives in London it's not unreasonable for GS wife to travel to London at the same time to see her son whilst GS conducts business in the capital. As for hotels giving out guest information to a complete stranger on the telephone, well, that's just laughable.
GS will release news when he is ready to release news. Be that today, next week or some point further down the line, it will come. As frustrating as it is for shareholders not to be updated, these pointless posts of he is on holiday are as I have said, pointless. The update will speak for itself either positively or negatively, I believe it will be positive otherwise I would have been selling out, no point holding shares in a company you dont believe will see a return on your investment. If like me you've been in since the IPO then some (if not all) of your investment is showing a profit. The continuous negativity on here astound me, if you've lost faith, sell up, bank the profits and move on to the next one. Otherwise, unless you've got something factually useful (positive or negative) then don't waste your time posting on here.

Can't really compare ALGW with NCCL. NCCL is AIM listed coal mining / energy company that's reliant on financing from China, always a high risk investment so hardly a comparator to ALGW.

I guess that's a rhetorical question Daisy given that Roy is a TR1 holder.

Looks very much to me like the MMs have a large order they're trying to fill without much success.
Being quoted to sell up to 3.8 million shares in one hit, an amount the MMs would never take in 1 go in the past. Someone obviously wants a decent position. Perhaps our 1 million buyer from the other day is looking to get more or maybe Mark Ward is getting more sub warrant price.
