The next update we get on the Guernsey acquisition will be when it is signed off by the regulator for the parent company. Could be tomorrow could be 2 weeks away, that timescale is out of the company hands. However its just a formality and the company have started the process of transferring things so there are no additional delays once sign off is complete.
There will however be an rns tomorrow.

I'm not expecting 10p plus, I believe I said it could get to 10p plus on the right news being released and that is possible given the hints being dropped. I'm far more realistic with my expectations and think previous highs could be achieved but I'll settle for wherever the market believes the SP should sit

AUM wont be increasing x35 it will be increasing +$350 million on completion of the acquisition. That's a known quantity, what's more exciting is the "significant development in the fund business" what could they be rewriting in the company brochure that is as a result of a significant development. Income from the fund is a guaranteed 1.5% plus potential 20% of any returns over 7% (split 60:40 with SLIM in ALGW favour) looking forward to hearing about that one. Then we have news on some key objectives achieved over the summer. So that's 3 pieces of news we are due throw in a bit of a surprise, given they've tweeted today with the hashtag #Expecttheunexpected I'm pretty excited right now. Company changing news within 6 trading days rerate to new highs on the cards. Could well see double figures in a matter of days or a few weeks. LSE best kept secret soon to be revealed and I imagine everyone will want to be a part of it.

Just book corrections by the MMs used to happen a lot more often with ALGW they would print a large sell, then there would be a run of sells off the back of that then the next day the large selling mysteriously cancelled. Trying to confuse people with what's actually happening

If they are exercising then it's very short sighted of them, theyll know the expected newsflow as much as we all do so exercising for a 50% profit when you could get a 100% profit or more is daft imho. Either way of it is Pello then at 3p it's still £500k+ into the coffers

Of those big black trades over the last few sessions only 3 are sells, the 1 million from yesterday and the 650k and 1.25 million the rest are buys. I suspect the 1.25 million buy yesterday corresponds to the 1.25 million sell today. Someone thought they'd chuck a load of money in, hoped it sparked a buying frenzy and spike they could sell on, didnt work and they got hit with the buying and selling fees. I'll say it again, not worth trying to trade this. Buy, hold and reap the rewards. Would be great to see a top notch RNS at 7am just to stick it to that 1.25 million attempt to trade the share

Unlikely as it's illegal to forward sell warrants, theres been no RNS confirming execution of warrants and Pello wont want to be subject to yet more scrutiny by the FCA.

Large positions definitely being taken at the moment. Shame about the large sell this morning which seems to have been the only large sell over the last few sessions, pretty much every other trade has been a buy. Like I said before I wouldnt want to try and trade this now, anyone doing so likely to get caught with their pants down. If you wanted to buy 2 million this afternoon, the MMs were quoting 3.99. Demand is clearly there, once the 3p nut is cracked then it's clear skies onwards an upwards folks,

If you think about it we hit 8p on the basis of the expected RCF of up to $100 million. We are about to add another circa $370 million to the AUM plus whatever this significant development on the fund side of the business is. They've also stated that the summer has been busy and they've achieved some of the key objectives which we are yet to hear about. Those 3 things have got to be worth more to the SP than the RCF was so it's possible that we could see double figures if the market reacts well. The 2 large buys over the last couple of days suggest others think the same.

I'm astonished that anyone is actually selling right now. Theres demand for the shares and the MMs got caught out yesterday. Why sell for 2.9p now when you could sell for 3.5p in a couple of hours. Bizarre

Great day today, what was really good to see was no real appetite for selling despite the best efforts of the MMs messing with the spread. 69k buy came out of the blue, someone with deep pockets obviously likes what they see and put their money in. Reckon the majority of holders are now in for the rerate, the flippers are done and it's just too risky to try and trade it now given the projected newsflow incoming by the end of the month. Acquisition sign off is imminent which virtually doubles AUM, the earnings from the additional AUM should equate to an mcap somewhere in the region of where we are right now, throw into the mix the current AUM and then add a sprinkle of a significant news on the fund side of the business and wash it down with a nice chilled achieving key objectives over the summer and we have the makings of a perfect meal finished off with a dessert of new highs. Grace Dent would no doubt love to eat at the ALGW restaurant, 3 Michelin stars incoming
