Hi garry didn't see your piece at all and was just replying to Miss G. I suppose if you contribute to Share Prophets people think you are all the same writer. People keep saying on these bbs that the Motley fool contradict themselves but they employ a group of people who sometimes take opposite views on the same share which reflects the market in general as far as I'm concerned. Have held spd off and on to good effect but did say it would race away from me before I could buy back in. My oils in the doldrums for now ophir in particular lol but not selling the diamond one just yet. Got hammered until the covenants got sorted and is doing well now. LOL if ophir doesn't improve for me then your articles are gonna get the blame lol good night all.

Miss G - I am a bit surprised Russell hasn't venture a response - especially if you look anything like a young Audrey Hepburn - as he's commented a bit on TW on other bbs. I think it's the case that TW has a lot of influence over Aim's shares like old cup and old qpp so when he says buy the herd does and when he says sell so does the herd or flock but then you have to watch you aren't the last sheep or lamb at the back . Less influence with something like this.

Disco Dave, I am going on holiday but will try to find time to look for an info source. Let's hope it doesn;t get away from us. Entirely agree with you. I have no issues with somebody who openly declares a short postion and provides reasons or a former shareholder saying why they sold but can't be bothered with folk ramping and deramping with no facts to back up and no intention of making money one way or another with a share. This bb would appear to have some disgrunatled rangers shareholders here but none of that stuff concerns me. Good luck.

Think it could be doing with some director buys and if Ashley bought a few more at this low level it could send out a positive message. Would be surprised if Odey had got this wrong. Like discodave, I am not currently invested here so not keeping constant tabs on it though I have done well here in the past with long trades so getting into bed with big mike as you put it hasn't caused me to be shafted yet. Member of the public commenting in a Scottish newspaper said of the spd and Rangers agreement on the sale of merchandise that if you sleep with dogs then you will catch fleas. I suppose it is up to the individual's imagination to work out who the reader thinks is the dog. But "agreements" are exactly what are in place so why all the bleating about the terms? Is it because they are very lucarative for spd and less so for the other parties who signed the agreements? To pick up your points specifically to me. Traders and investors want the price to go down when they are buying and to go up when they are selling and it is as simple as that. You recommended Chesnara to me as a share for investment income. Had a look. So boring and with a limited price range that you are the last poster on the bb last year and a classic plus account with tsb will give you 5% interest on balance of up to £2,000 which is all I would invest in a share like that that is not already a well known household name. stuzeeuk - the lower the spd share price goes for me the better. However, having noticed you posting on here previously and either indadvertently or advertently getting spd and Mash holdings issues totally confused, I think you need to pay heed to factual accuracies in your posts. This company's money's have been invested wisely in jd and debs. That's a matter of factual record and is not open to any debate. What Mike Ashley does with his own cash is up to him. If he wants to fritter it away in investing in football clubs then that is up to him. How's your Rangers investment doing for you I wonder. No divis there. Can I recommend a few deb's shares to anybody looking for divi income. Forecasting the future is where we can all speculate on these bbs but please keep it honest and accurate when it comes to stating past facts we are none of us politicians on here out to mislead the public.

I looked at the flotation price - £3.00. Apparently it was floated on the worst day on the stock exhange for 9 months which was described as rotten luck and the shares fell back on the day quite considerably. So still sitting well above that level and Ashley personally has been as shrewd in his trading here as he has been elsewhere so maybe if you see him buying that will send out the signal? So this big loss Cammy refers to will only have been sustained by the folk who, as with other shares, have been daft enough or unfortunate enough to get spiked at the top. Never known you to be attracted to a divi? Where's tilly tish when you need her - apparently has held spd through thick and thin and thinks Mike can walk on water. But as the guy on the iii once chided on the cup bb, you have no right to ask anybody about their trading on these bbs as that is their private business lol imho and please dyor.

Seldom do aims but seems to be a case here for the company to do well here. Think the old hmv plc bought a 50% stake here yonks ago for about 7 million lol so hasn't done much over the years but could this be the year. Certainly hope so.

TW and the bbc were right about cupid. I've got myself a half price Jamie Oliver pizza stone and doing quite well with that. Be March before spd settles and I am not holding at present just think there is a bit of a witch hunt and like to see fair play.
