Thoughts ----EXXON28 May 2018 11:11
Hi all just some thoughts
Firstly i do not believe that Exxon are looking for our oil, Exxon like deep wells that bring thousands of barrels of oil out a day. What we have is up to 1000 barrels a day from each well if they were fully stimulated.
200 wells having oil collected and transported to a pipeline by truck is not the general way that Exxon do things, this is very profitable for someone like FRR and could completely change the company, but its small fry and pain in the ass for someone like Exxon.
Exxon would prefer a new block off shore Brazil etc where one well sets them up for years and output many times each well we have. Chariot oil and gas would fit that bill.
Now the whole of Georgia is similar to our block 12
So its unlikely that the hydrocarbons that Exxon visited for were for Oil. Not likely in Georgia.
Gas is another ball game thou, Exxon are looking for gas as its the biggest growth market, many gas fields accross the globe, Vog for instance has gas it needs to sell. But down there it needs compression and changing to LPG, then loaded on to tankers and then transported and off loaded. Nice but alot of ball ache, especially if you had a gas source, next to your market and infrastructure in place to get it there.
So we know Exxon have been looking at hydrocarbons in Georgia
We suspect unlikely to be oil as its small scale and huge numbers of wells to get kind of volume they deal with.
We know they are looking for gas
Now who has gas in georgia?
A few companies but all shallow fields, except for FRR
Plus Exxon make this visit, just as testing of UD2 get underway.
Expect Exxon to insist on further testing, extending the period etc, but really if you look at the facts, its a huge possibility that Exxon are there due to the gas and we are currently only ones with testing of deep well gas.
Then arbitration fiasco starts around same time, news from UD2 goes quiet and pictures are very seldom seen.
fact is - Exxon been in Georgia, Exxon are on hunt for new gas resources and FRR are only ones with deep well gas at this time.
Slighly possible that Exxon are requesting a test drill off shore for oil or gas, but they are currently looking at removing risk by taking over explored and proven fields rather than the expensive and more risky exploration them selves.
I know some may dissagree but for me the Exxon probability looks very probable.
