I think the points you made have some legs, however lets remember, Zaza did not have to call that meeting at all, so he could have avoided the meeting completely.
I think the conference call was real, and with not only BP now known to be one of the super majors, BH being another i can see why his time would be split. probably to Texas and SN that conference call, whatever i would suggest it was more important than speaking to us, in the big scheme of things.
I do not see Zaza and SN in bed with Outrider, so not a con.
I do see how Outrider got their foot in the door via buying dept on the cheap from a third party, something FRR had no control over. I also see how Outrider were on a strangle hold on FRR, the clock was ticking and with Hope on the BOD this was going only one way,--- too Outrider.
So the mess was caused beyond the control of FRR
So what about the assets, well BP who i have called 2,16 for months now as a clue, and Baker Hughes know exactly what potential is, FRR could not fool those boys. So the asset is real. Please note also the sudden interest in Georgia by Exxon and Total. Something has woken those sleeping giants.
Also why else is Outrider so interested in taking FRR?
Its because that box is worth fighting for, its not full, is bursting out at the seams.
Now I suggest FRR had only one option to stop Hope from forcing an eventual default, the situation was going to become more and more impossible if action not taken. I think it would be hard without this to remove Hope as he had it as a condition for the loan.
To remove Hope we needed a loan to pay off outrider
To get that loan we needed to remove Hope as he was blocking it.
Now what matters is did Zaza and SN have everything in place before this started.
Evidence against Hope, A means to a loan to clear the outrider loans in full and have they checked all the laws to ensure they can fulfil this.
Zaza et al have alot on this, so are aligned and i would suggest they have been looking at this scenario prior to taking it on.
Question remains thou, if we do get all our plans in place and then the law allows Zaza to play it as he plans.
No guarantee here, but the stakes have been raised, With BP and the other news the value is increased dramatically, however its all or nothing now.
May i suggest that Hope and TW were in cahoots regarding shorting FRR and he was sharing information with of course TW aware that Hope was going to strangle FRR over time. That would make shorting the company very viable. Now that plan has been stopped in its tracks the shorters and LTH are both on the edge, the good news is we know what we could lose.
Losing would be critical for some, but i feel that FRR have all avenues covered and this is a well thought out plan to rid us of a parasite and save the company, i may be wrong but its honestly how i feel - time will tell
