Very nearly hit my year end 48k fair value target (153p) today. But that target assumes full recovery of arrears over the next two years (equal monthly payments), current contract terms and export restart in early January (and an average Brent of $65 in perpetuity). While my 20% discount rate is high, it is deservedly so given current turmoil and uncertainty in my view. Lowering it to 15% would add about 25p in fair value. The stock is fully valued currently. Hold.

(A stock like Vanquis has much better upside for the bold IMO. 3-4x over next 18 months. Yes, I've been buying it.)

Rog your reasoning is discredited by the nature of the buyback as discussed in the press release. As a matter of fact, possession of meaningful inside information would preclude management from STOPPING the buyback. The correct answer is price. When set up, the mandate (which continues even when management are in possession of material inside information) contains a price limitation. I have already given my views as to why such a limitation was put in place.

Yeah I doubt the IOCs have had much in the way of further meetings yet. Still a long way to go. For now, however, I maintain my assumption of export restart in January even though time is running out and that will likely need to be pushed out. SP still 6-7% below my YE FV estimate (previously stated assumptions) even with this rally... Let's see how things unfold.

Nobull is another who clearly hasn't bothered to read management's disclosure as to how the buyback was set up. They HAVE relinquished control.

Sterling weakness also helps the stock price in pence. Down 3% in the last month.
