With interims out in a few weeks (which will not be great due to decreased market spend during the period), Koovs could be inline for a bumper 2019.

The pieces of the jigsaw are slowly falling into place after a couple of disaster years (Demonetisation GST).

Increased market spend, more shops/ offline exposure, a massive social media presence, improving margins etc, improving logistics & infrastructure in India, huge online penetration too.

I wonder when this will hit £1?

Not forgetting one of Britain's richest men Lord Waheed Alli has thrown 10's of millions of pounds into this project.

Yes there have been major setbacks with Demonetisation & GST, overstretching themselves with marketing etc, but the pieces are definitely falling into place.

Does anybody have an opinion as to why at this stage we are still seeing quite a few large sells?

I have mentioned before that there has clearly been a large distressed/ forced seller over the last couple of months, but with various news announcements due, it is a little strange....

olliebee- I agree that there will not be a trading update now until interims in December.
I have been in & out of this share since Roy Naismith was the CFO & unfortunately Koovs have a history of delivering poor results since inception (150p IPO).

It's a shame that Koovs are not transparent. They misled with fundraising (at an advanced stage for about a year) & refuse to update the market with regular trading updates- even though all the bad news seems to be leaked beforehand.

Myself & other regular shareholders have constantly pressed for more transparency, but to no avail.

It will take a while for the Future Group tie in to take effect.

I also understand that new board members from Future Group are being lined up....

I'm aiming for £1 a share for a nice retirement.

Hardman & Co reckon this could be a Billion pound company & that was BEFORE the massive tie in with Future Group was announced. That would give nearly £3 a share.

To be honest, if they get it right & it reaches £1, then that could just be the start!!

The bottom line is that Waheed has the vision. Maybe he entered India a couple of years early, but in that time he has invested £70 million in creating the product (name), platform, technology & logistics.

Hopefully the hard work has been done. The tie up with Future Group is massive & not even factored in to future revenues/ growth.

It is clear that the hybrid model is the way forward now.

The reaction of the 20 something year olds across social media in India totally blew me away. Koovs really have created a niche brand with a loyal following. It's the brand to be seen in.

Can see exponential growth from here which will hopefully be reflected in the share price.

Amazon news next week, more store openings & a decent forward looking statement could see this at 50p by end of year ; )

Now India has the worlds largest Facebook community on the planet, so it is going to have certain influence when you are looking at fashion trends. In fact, India is going to feed into digital trends and that is going to change the way things are.

We have spent almost no money on marketing in the last six months as this battle between Flipkart and Amazon has deluged the market. Everybody is offering discounts. Despite this heavy discounting, our full price sales have gone up by 11 per cent. Our brand recognition has gone up by 25 per cent. If I had Amazons resources, I would be 100 times bigger than I am today. I cant fight in this marketplace to grow that fast very quickly. I will have to do it slowly and I have to be smarter. Technology is helping us do that.

That is one of the funniest things that I have ever read!
As you seem quite new to trading, let me tell you that it was the CEO for 15 years Nick Robertson who built ASOS. Mary Turner as Non Exec Director did not last long & contributed very little. As for Robert Pursell- he was probably still at Uni & may have bought the odd hoodie from their website. He NEVER EVER worked for ASOS!!

Mary Turner has been extremely busy over at Gurgaon, both at the Koovs headquarters & at the Future Group owned Central Mall where Koovs launched their first offline venture.

There are another 41 high tech HD Central Malls to go ; )

I wonder if there will be grand openings at the others too?

Official store launch in Future Group owned Central Mall in Gurgaon, near to the Koovs headquarters.

As I exclusively revealed the other week, the first two stores will officially open tomorrow October 26th in Delhi AeroCity & Gurgaon.
I have been informed by my contacts in Delhi that there is a buzz going around social media & that many 'influencers' & social media stars will be there.
They could not disclose/ confirm if any big names, A listers will attend- for security reasons ; )

Will keep all genuine holders updated.

Graybird, you will not hear anything in March. That is guaranteed with Koovs. Although March 31st will signal the end of the Financial year, Koovs do not have to publish their Preliminary Results until the following September as per LSE rules.
Just like now, they don't have to publish Interims for period ending 30th September until December.

For the last year, myself & other large shareholders have expressed our concerns as to why the company does not update the markets & it's shareholders on a regular basis- like most credible companies do.

I think you are being very naïve Jambon. There is a MASSIVE difference between a trading update & Interims/ Finals. Do you think it is reasonable for a listed company to inform the markets/ shareholders just twice a year.
Koovs used to update the markets with its progress, whether it was 4, 5 or 6 monthly updates. I should know.

All decent/ successful companies update the markets on a regular basis- unless they have something to hide!!!!

Don't bother writing to Koovs- Robert Pursell in on leave AGAIN!!
