Surely the stage one he referred to in an interview is complete by now more than two months later? If that is the case why can't he put out an RNS to state that and to say how many parties (if any) are left in the process?

ISA agreed - perhaps Onion should consider putting out an RNS rather than ridiculous tweets. Is this what he meant by 'updates throughout Q1'? I agree that the tweets sound encouraging but really any news should be put out via an RNS.

Another solid update. Divi now 9.3% per year at current sp. NAV down slightly but at 111p still a long way north of the current sp. Plenty of upside here IMO.

bonker, yeah this is looking very cheap now. Seems many are happy to sell for a quick 10% this morning but I feel confident that this has a much bigger rise to come this year if things proceed on track.

I can see this heading back up to 20p+ if everything remains on track this year. If by some miracle we get positive news on how Dugbe is going to be taken forward then this could really fly. Here's hoping!

Well, my other dog of a share HUM, finally seems to have turned a corner and getting set for 200k oz pa production later this year. I just need Onion Head to find us a buyer and I might finally head back into positive territory with these two dogs!!

A very decent update from Betts for once! Well done to him and the team. Great to see AISC dropping back to $1200 level and also great to hear that Kouroussa is on schedule. Hard to believe that HUM will soon be producing 200k oz per year. Hopefully the sp will start to recover strongly now. Fingers crossed that we enjoy a period without **** ups/unforeseen negative events etc. I think us shareholders derserve a break!

Isapension, yes that tweet is quite interesting - could be a clue from Onion Head that things are progressing towards a sale. If they are not then he shouldn't have bothered with such a tweet so I am inclined to see it as a good sign. Hopefully not just more Onion BS....................

Agreed, if he hits guidance for once we should be off to the races with a lot to look forward to potentially this year. Hopefully the lack of news on the new mine in Guinea suggests that things are proceeding on schedule. Lets hope so!

HFO, yeah it does seem a bit odd that we haven't seen evidence of a leek yet - apart from the massive one Onion Head has bought to roger us shareholders with. High time he provided us with an update. No doubt it will be 'no one wants to buy us so we are reverting to plan A (or is it Plan B or C? ) and will build the mine ourselves!

nero - are you serious? Why would anyone sell now at near rock bottom? Particularly as the company is up for sale and if by some miracle it is sold it should be for more than 18p. I take it you are owning the grim fact that the sp is 18p? I know that Onion has you in his pocket but how can anyone seriously think that he has done a good job? He has destroyed the value here over the last few years at a time when gold is over $1900! He is now selling off the company for peanuts instead of going into production. What has he done right/well in your view? He got a lucky break years ago when being handed a million oz for free from the old Soviet drilling data. Since then he has added a paltry 1.3 million oz in thirteen years. He has only just managed to do a BFS for just about the smallest mine/production schedule imaginable - this was supposed to be a BFS for 200k oz pa if you believed his waffle from years back. The guy deserves to be called out for his woeful performance, as reflected in an 18p share price.
