HUMM I agree - was it really necessary to raise all this money at 7p when as you say better alternatives could have been found with 100k oz production supposedly just round the corner. I have said it before but it is clear Betts doesn't care about the interests of shareholders and he has always kept his personal holding pretty low apart from adding more at very low prices.

Great post dragon. Not to mention the conflict of interest in Betts selling our gold to his Dad's gold company. I've never been happy about that because Im not convinced we always get the best price available.

Whilst this long wait with no news is frustrating I am strangely comforted by it! To me it suggests that there must be an ongoing process involving at least one potential buyer. If the process was a complete dud and nobody was interested then you would imagine that this would have been announced already- unless Onion is scrambling around behind the scenes trying to find someone who might be interested? I am inclined to believe the former scenario and therefore hope that MC will pull an onion from his magic hat in the not too distant future. Here's hoping!

It is certainly dilution! Another Betts **** up. He must of miscalculated how much they need when announcing the raise last week!! He then tries to make it seem like he is doing shareholders a favour by offering us shares at the current Ask price - hahaha. Also, why do we need money NOW to start drilling Kou? Surely the resource is big enough there to allow us to wait until cash flow from Kou starts before we need to expand the resource there and to pay for it from cash flow rather than by dilution at 7.79p? The guy is so far out of his depth and always manages to find a way to screw things up.

I sure am enjoying reading these 'regular updates throughout Q1' Onion Head promised us. I find it hard to believe that not one update has been put out by RNS in not far off three months.

Civitas Social Housing (CSH) has suffered a sustained fall in its share price which sees it now trade on a discount of 44.4%. This seems wholly unjustified given the strong market fundamentals in the social housing sector and the group's proven, secure government-backed income.

CSH's inflation-linked leases (which benefit from annual rental uplifts in line with inflation as measured by the consumer price index (CPI) or CPI+1%) more than compensated for a higher discount rate used to value its portfolio on a discounted cash flow method (following market volatility caused by higher interest rates) and resulted in CSH reporting a healthy uplift in net asset value (NAV) in September 2022 - one of the only real estate investment trusts (REITs) to do so in the period. Its NAV fell by 3.4% in the quarter to December 2022, which compares favourably with the REIT sector.

The inflation protection, improving strength of its tenants, and strong market fundamentals make the group's discount to NAV and high dividend yield extremely attractive.

Good write up about CSH and good to see the company bringing it to everyone's attention via RNS. Way undervalued here!

In fairness to Big Jim he probably can't promote CNR at this stage without it appearing like he is providing insider info on the sale process?

haha, what, has Onion being driving round in one of those bullet proof presidential type vehicles?!! He probably feels he needs it to due to angry long term shareholders. Although he wont need it for driving to the next AGM as he will be working from home.

I think the only logical explanation for suddenly deciding to give this 10 million oz+ district away for peanuts just when gold is heading for $2000+ is that Onion has had enough and fancies his pipe and slippers. How else can you explain this bizarre move?

He may have 'failed' at being a Gurkha but he hasn't done badly since - fleecing long term holders (email buddies) out of their hard earned while pocketing a fat yearly salary with all expenses paid.

I'd just like to express my thanks to Betts for managing to destroy the value here once again! What a clown. Just when we finally had a glimmer of hope that the sp would recover after the decent RNS about production from Yan he drops that shower of s...e on us the very next day. Was it necessary to do that? Wouldn't it have been better to wait a few weeks at least, or longer still to see how things develop before hitting the panic button. He doesn't give tuppence for us shareholders - that much has always been clear.
