Err, yes broomtree! Have you not listened to DB's interviews? A new project and destination for the Runruno plant is due to be announced soon. In the latest interview DB said in the next three to six months. It was previously forecast to be announced in H1, so could happen any time now.

DB is still talking about dividends in 2028 so Runruno is irrelevant.

Ghost, good post but Cacao is part of the La India district and will add ore to the mine that is being built. The high silver/gold prospect is the recently acquired La Grecia concession which MTL will begin drilling shortly. That will probably need a new mine built if the ore body is big enough.

I would say, having just listened to DB again, that this is definitely NOT the shovel ready project we are still expecting to hear about. He mentions that they have already costed moving the Runruno plant 'to port'and he also says they 'can't book shipping at the moment' because the final destination hasn't been finalised. It seems clear that the intention is to ship the plant to a different country.

Excellent news today. Interesting that this new concession is next door to Abra. Hopefully more news is incoming.

I certainly think that the acquisition news could come anytime now, despite DB saying within the next three months. The reason I believe that is the original statements from DB referred to acquisition news during H1. It could be that that is still on the cards.

I think that the lab is only just now getting up and running and until recently cores were being sent to Canada. I think DB mentioned two rigs but that two more were being brought in, one of which will head to La Grecia.

Nope! DB said in the next three months MTL hopes to announce an acquisition of a future new mine, although he did also say it could be up to six months if it takes longer to agree terms etc. He also said there is no fuel shortage at Runruno, so no need for diesel generators.
