Oh dear, they are also preparing you for a cut in the divi from 5.46 to 4.5p.

If you announce a sale then you should sell to the highest bidder and hope that a bidding war commences. Setting some inflated minimum price which no one is prepared to match 'because we know what this is worth' is a dangerous game. God help us if we don't get a bid.
I suspect he'll take it private for 20p or less - 'sorry chaps, we couldn't find a buyer because no one wanted to pay our inflated price for helicopter survey ounces, so no choice but to take this private now.' I always said we would get a large leek rammed up our posteriors.
I seems odd given the fact that we are very shortly due to be producing 200k oz pa with low aisc and gold at $1930 that the sp isn't rising. This is stupidly low given those facts (not to mention Dugbe too). Gets on your t*ts after a while!
Yep, the 'early summer sale' has proven to be an Onion pipe dream. Trouble is Onion and Big Jim believe their own hype about the value of CNR based on helicopter surveys, modelling blah blah blah. What was needed was drilling to actually create proven ounces. Trying to sell at an inflated price based on their assumptions about potential future exploration just doesn't wash as we are now seeing. Awful strategy from an awful CEO.
Falconer, property prices are falling and probably will continue to do so for the foreseeable with a further rate rise being touted. That means the NAV here will fall - not good.
