I still reckon Mellon is the big seller who keeps selling into any rise. After reporting that his holding had reduced to 2.99% on 25th June he still held 87 million shares. He is required to report only if his holding falls to 2%, so he will have to offload 29 million shares before reporting to the market. He owned 216 million mtl shares after the Condor sale so we know he has sold 129 million before hitting the 3% threshold, so no reason to believe he isn't intent on selling the lot.
