Excellent progress here recently with the mill shipped from Alaska and due to arrive in Nicaragua on the 25th. Construction of the new mine is well underway as is technical drilling. A good agreement with the artisinal miners has been concluded. Furthermore, the Dupax drill permit in the Phillipines has been received and exploration is underway there, hopefully leading to a new mine just 20km away from the existing mine in Runrunno, which continues to churn out the profits with low aisc and high gold prices. Hats off to MTL and DB, things are progressing very nicely.

Will we see another spike up to 20p+ here?

Totally agree Lee, many Western economies are screwed and drowning in debt, it is not just America. As you say debt is a runaway train and gold will continue to trend upwards as a consequence.

Never say never but there shouldn't be a gap if things go even pretty much close to plan. With gold prices as they are currently MTL will have ample cash to see them through all but a major delay.

Seingred, yes I have seen that. China now has approx 300k hectares of concessions. There are 3 million hectares in Nic so hopefully room for MTL to expand. We already hold Rio Luna and a couple of other concessions. Rio Luna had a few decent drill results back in the day. I think DB has his eyes on one concession that was explored by a major before they exited Nic (I can't remember the name now). Let's see what happens. La India district probably contains 10 million oz, so we have enough to be getting on with!

The first gold pour ones are pretty much nailed on and the resource expansion ones will surely happen eventually - depends how quickly DB wants to drill. There is going to be plenty happening in the coming few months with Dupax and La India being drilled. On site labs at both locations will mean a rapid turn around of results.

Agreed, MTL got an absolute bargain. La India could be just the beginning. Hopefully as DB suggested MTL will be awarded some other highly prospective tenements in Nicaragua.

Agreed. There is now a clear path to having two long term mines with 250k to 300k oz production at circa $1200 aisc. Very exciting long term hold for me.
