nero, there is a problem with being in regular contact with management by email - before you realise it you are in thrall to him/them, feeling grateful for the fact that they deigned to reply to you and you can quickly become their BB poodle, incapable of being critical because you think you have some sort of relationship and don't want to cause offence. The unwary can easily be manipulated. I prefer to make my own mind up and express opinions not influenced by being one of Onion Head's secret 'chums'. Any objective assessment of his performance over the last seventeen years which has seen a decline in the sp from £2.10 to 16p despite gold being $1800 currently would conclude that 'dire' sums things up succinctly. As I have said this remains a strong buy at the current sp for those buying in now but for long termers this isn't a great outcome unless that is you are one of Onion Head's poodles.

An interesting possible explanation. I'm a bit surprised that people bother emailing Onion Head cos it just gives him more opportunities to spread his BS. I wouldn't bother as like many on here I've had more than enough of his guff. Onion Head mentioned $100m to $200m or 40p to 80p fully diluted in the recent interview (not just people on here). It is entirely possible that he has had interest expressed at around $100m and that the sale sign went up to try and flush out higher bids.

He also talks about it like a bidding competition that will have several 'rounds' as bidders/interested parties get knocked out. Call me a mug but on the basis of Onion Head's interview I have added another 30k and I will ask my wife if she wants to top up too. If his optimism turns out to be BS don't be surprised if you subsequently read a strange tale about an onion being found with a cactus shoved up its insides!
