The more I read about MTL the more I think the deal could be a good one for those willing to stay in MTL for the long term. Darren seems to know what he is doing. I think I will stick around. I would have preferred a higher offer now and to have taken the money and run but I can certainly see a bright future and after all these years it would be good to see La India up and running.

That explains the ludicrous CVR add on - purely there so Onion collects his bonus! He has done nothing to deserve a bonus, he has destroyed the value of this company. This 'proper process' should never have embarked on, as I have always said. Making yourself a distressed seller was always going to be a disaster.

Agreed Sunjammer, the CVR is no more than a smoke screen. MTL have zero need to do any drilling to increase the resource during the first five years. With that being the case 31p sucks

Forget the CVR part - what is to stop MTL doing no drilling to increase the resource over the next five years? They don't need to do any because the resource is big enough for that period of time.

I always knew we would get shafted. Thanks Onion for feck all. So this was 35p a few weeks before the 'proper process' was announced. After a two week wait we get offered 30p. This is a stitch up between buddies.
