Why would there be 'reluctant' ex CNR holders of MTL shares?!! MTL is a miles better bet than CNR ever was. I think most are delighted to be part of the MTL story (I know I am).

Every time this company puts results out they are disappointing. Production lower than expected, issues at one of the mines that wont be sorted before Q3 at the earliest and an aisc that is strangely high given how much gold is being produced. I can see this tanking again.

Hard to understand why we have a P/E of just over 1 compared to the FTSE average of around 15. Gold stocks remain VERY undervalued and at some point soon you have to hope that the gap closes significantly. So much potential to multi-bag here at the current gold price, but imagine if it breaks $4000 as many predict.

Yes, if gold goes up I think the divi will increase. 8% is very nice already but always happy to see it rise further!

This one and MTL look to be great plays now if gold continues to prosper. I rode HOC up from £2 to £3 and now selling out of that one and moving into here and MTL. The prospect of a 7% divi here and capital growth potential is very appealing. GLA

Am I right in thinking that the new dividend amounts to roughly 8% at the current sp? If so this looks like a decent prospect.

Sotolo, do you hold any ARA? I agree that it could be an interesting play in view of China's ban on exporting heavy rare earths to the USA.
