It was very interesting to hear that Kou produced 2700 oz in one week recently which is fantastic and if maintained would be 130k oz pa. At an aisc of $1400 and a gold price of $2500 that would come to $143 million in profit per year. It is clear that just as HUM is turning the corner it is being 'stolen' on the cheap. The best thing they could do is to get rid of Yan and just concentrate on Kou. I also think it is deliberate that no mention of Dugbe was made. $35m at this stage would obviously pay for the near term interest payments that need to be made and also pay off some of the debt that scheduled to be repaid. That would leave HUM a going concern long enough to start making serious money from Kou. This stinks to high heaven and shareholders are being robbed of an asset that may be about to turn the corner. Did anyone ask a question regarding Dugbe? I would be interested to know whether it was ignored.

So, the debt mountain remains unpaid, payments have to be deferred and interest continues to build - yeah, not too shabby. Furthermore this amazing 'ramp up' proceeds at a snail's pace at best.

BPat you keep insisting that the ramp up continued throughout Q3 but there is no evidence of that. The mill relining and a progressively wetter pit (it rained virtually every day) are reasons why this ramp up may not have happened and the fact that commercial production still hasn't been reached more than one month after Q3 suggests it may not have ramped up as you hope. This is NOT misinformation as you claim and is a valid point of view. WE will find out when HUM finally gets round to publishing these results.
