Agreed WOS. I've thought for a while that there are some background large orders being filled as its unusual for MM's to offer so close, or even above, the printed bid for such large quantities of shares. There has to be a reason for that.

Yes, something is brewing. As you say, MM's are setting a significantly higher bid for greater numbers of shares. They want those shares.

Agreed WOS. I think most investors are expecting some news in May. The Mongolian winter is well behind us, we have been told that all the work on existing wells is relatively low-cost which clearly implies a short time frame for them. I see no problem with company issuing a holding RNS along the lines of 'we continue to hold talks with potential JV partners' too for example. Buck has got to start playing to the market a bit more. We are a producer with income now, time to get on the front foot with PR etc.

H1 increasing, potential in H2, money in the bank, oil ticking back up rapidly, Sunsteppe attracting investment with confidentiality agreements in place, sign-off sorted with PC, interest from minimum 3 potential partners for JV on Heron, Gobi and Gazelle in the process of further evaluation and testing, company working hard to streamline and reduce costs and NO DEBT! Incredible position to be in. Liter ally nothing priced in.

Clearly a very good chance of that. It flowed at 821 UNSTIMULATED and that there has been no deterioration in the well during the prolonged shutdown.

Morning all. I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Cracking weather here in France, my local lake warm enough to swim in. Looking forward to this week - news from Heron, oil on the up, Sino-US trade relations steadying. Let's hope it's a good one.,

I've been very vocal in my support of Mike Buck, but given that we have had several weeks of good weather in Mongolia, I'd be disappointed and very critical if works on both H1 & 2 were not well under way by now. I'm much in favour of slow and steady development but we cannot afford to let weeks of good weather go to waste. I'd like the next operational update to be clear on what has been done when. Kit and equipment should have been sourced over winter, ready to go on day one, along with the necessary personnel. I can accept delays outside the company's purview, such as the permitting, sales agreement etc, but I expect a highly proactive approach in all matters we can control. Moreover, the market needs a sense of this company's forward momentum if we are to attract investors. So, time to crack on and earn your salary, Mr Buck.

Agree with that researchandhold. That's why it's important we work hard to establish good production levels prior to any JV deal being struck. It's all about how big a slice of the JV pie we keep. In my view, the higher the production this year, the better deal we get.

Just my idiosyncratic reading probably, but this last line from the recent RNS reads like we nearly have a de facto JV with the block 19 operator:

'We look forward to establishing a cooperative routine in the sales process in the same way that the field crews in Blocks XIX and XX have done in the production operations over the last 6 months and to receiving payment for all the oil produced to date during the month of May'.

My interpretation of the comment about the interest from 3 potential partners is that this was to make clear to the Chinese that we have other options as negotiations begin. It seems to me difficult to imagine the Chinese signing off on the agreement at this point when there could soon be a third party involved in the development and exploitation of Heron. Just my musing.
